Thank you so much to Sister Chunni for taking such meticulous care of my baby and me during this time! She is very professional, attentive, and responsible, and incredibly patient with the baby. Whether it was feeding, burping, bathing, changing diapers, or the baby’s daily care and routine, she handled everything very thoughtfully, which gave our whole family great peace of mind. While caring for the baby, she was also very considerate toward me as a postpartum mother. Based on my situation, she prepared nutritious, balanced, light, and tasty postpartum meals, and reminded me to rest and focus on my recovery. Whenever we had questions about caring for the baby, she patiently communicated with us and shared her own experience. During this time, the baby was very well cared for, and I was able to get plenty of rest and recover. Not only was she conscientious and responsible in her work, but she was also easygoing and kind, and being around her felt like having a family member. I feel very fortunate to have met such a wonderful postpartum nanny during my confinement period. I sincerely appreciate all that she did and would be very happy to recommend her to other mothers who need help!

The nanny was extremely irresponsible. She agreed to everything at first, then casually backed out on the employer two months later. On July 28, 2026, we confirmed our intention to work together with her and discussed her start date. She readily agreed. She proactively suggested paying the deposit after getting vaccinated in September, and both sides agreed. On September 3, she submitted her vaccination record. We discussed the start date, and she said there was no problem. On September 5, she suddenly said she had to go to Singapore with her current employer and could not start work. We tried to persuade her to stay and even offered to pay more, but she simply stopped replying. If you are also considering Auntie Chen, be careful not to become her next backup option.

Auntie Liao is very experienced and is careful and responsible in caring for both the baby and the postpartum mother. Overall, having her with us made us feel very reassured. Baby care Auntie was very patient and meticulous with the baby. Before the baby’s umbilical cord stump fell off, she carefully provided umbilical cord care; after it fell off, she also bathed the baby regularly. She consistently used plain water to clean the baby’s bottom, and the baby never developed diaper rash during the entire period. Postpartum care and meals Auntie took great care with the postpartum mother’s diet. She could help promote lactation and would arrange various herbal soups and postpartum confinement soups according to postpartum needs. Her cooking was delicious, while still being mindful of keeping meals light and nutritious, making them very comfortable to eat. Responsibility and cooking Auntie has a strong sense of responsibility and also enjoys researching cooking. In her free time, she would look at Xiaohongshu herself to learn new recipes and try her best to vary our meals. Although Auntie is from Guangdong, she also makes some northern-style flour-based foods very well, such as steamed buns, potstickers, and dumplings. She made them all from scratch, starting with preparing the dough, and they tasted great. Overall, Auntie Liao is experienced, conscientious, and responsible, and she is very attentive to both the baby and the postpartum mother. If you place particular importance on baby care, postpartum meals, and cooking, I think Auntie Liao is a very good choice.

We are very grateful to the auntie for taking care of our whole family during this time. Overall, we were very satisfied with her, and we feel fortunate to have had her help during my postpartum confinement period. First of all, her cooking is truly delicious, and our whole family especially agrees on this point. The meals she prepared every day were varied, and the flavors suited us very well. She did not make postpartum meals overly bland or monotonous just because they were confinement meals. While taking nutrition and postpartum recovery into account, she was still able to make the food very tasty. Whether it was soups, stir-fries, noodles, or all kinds of home-style dishes, everything tasted great. She also adjusted promptly based on our eating habits. Sometimes family members would want to eat something, and if we mentioned it to her, she was always willing to make it. She really put a lot of care into cooking. Another thing that stood out to us was that she genuinely likes children. You could feel this from many small details in the way she cared for the baby every day. She did not simply treat caring for the baby as a job; she would patiently soothe him, hold him, talk to him, and observe his different states each day. When the baby cried or fussed, she was extremely patient and experienced. Many times, we could not soothe him even after trying for a long time, but once she took over, she could quickly calm him down or get him to sleep. She was also very gentle when talking to and holding the baby. It was clear that she truly likes children. Especially for first-time parents like us, we had no experience with many things at the beginning—for example, why the baby was crying, when he should sleep, how to burp him, how to hold him, and how to tell whether he was sleepy. She taught us a lot in our everyday interactions. She did not simply do everything herself; she also explained how we should do things. This was very helpful for us later when caring for the baby on our own. As for the baby’s daily care, she was quite skilled at feeding, burping, changing diapers, bathing, and putting him to sleep. She also paid attention to how much the baby ate, his sleep, and his daily condition, and she would tell us promptly if anything was different from usual. As the baby gradually grew and stayed awake for longer periods, she would interact with him instead of simply letting him lie there all the time. She was also very attentive in caring for the mother. In addition to cooking every day, she would remind me to rest, eat, and drink water, and she took on many everyday responsibilities for us during the confinement period. After giving birth, the body naturally needs time to recover. If I had also needed to care for the baby, cook, and handle all kinds of household matters myself, it really would have been exhausting. Having her with us during this time made things much easier, and allowed us to put more energy into physical recovery and learning how to be parents. In daily life, she was also a very hardworking person. She promptly organized and cleaned the baby’s things, and would proactively help wherever assistance was needed around the home. Living together for such a long time really tests how well people get along, but she was generally easygoing. We could communicate directly about anything, and she was willing to adjust according to our family’s habits. I think that, beyond experience and professional skills, the most important qualities in a postpartum nanny are a sense of responsibility and patience with the baby. After all, the baby is so small, and what parents care about most is whether they can feel at ease leaving their child in her care. After spending this time together, we could truly feel her affection and patience toward our baby.

I want to seriously share our family’s real experience with Auntie Sun over the month and a half we spent together. Auntie Sun lived in our home for more than 40 days, caring for me and my newborn baby. Later, I saw some reviews of her online that were very different from what I personally saw and experienced during those days. So I also want to document our family’s real experience and give mothers looking for a postpartum nanny another point of reference. As a completely inexperienced new mom, I had no idea how to hold a baby or how to feed one (I was exhausted in the hospital and did not learn any of it). After two sleepless days, seeing Auntie Sun was like seeing a savior, and the facts proved that I could trust her completely. During those 40-plus days, she truly was more than just a “postpartum nanny” to us. Since our parents could not come, she felt like family. She helped bind my belly and wipe my back, and she also paid attention to whether I had eaten and how well I was resting. I have always thought she was a superwoman. She did not just take excellent care of the baby; somehow, she took care of the whole household too. She was very skilled at the baby’s feeding, sleeping, bathing, burping, nighttime care, and more. At the same time, she cooked for the household, washed baby bottles, cleaned, and made desserts. Sometimes I watched her and had no idea how she managed to do so many things at once. She is also a very organized, plan-ahead type of person, while I tend to procrastinate and am often late. She would remember the baby’s appointments ahead of time and urge us to leave. She planned each day’s meals early, and as the time for her to leave got closer, she proactively taught us how to feed, burp, and bathe the baby, so that we would know what to do after she was gone. Her cooking was also especially delicious. The steamed buns, potstickers, dishes, and desserts she made were all delicious. Her steamed buns were especially much better than Nanxiang’s 😂 As a foodie and baking enthusiast, I had once been upset that I could not keep going to Flushing to eat and drink during my postpartum confinement, but having her at home made me very happy to eat at home. But for me, the most important thing was that she genuinely cared about the baby. That is actually very hard to fake. When you spend every day and night together, you gradually can tell whether someone is just doing a job or whether they are truly thinking about what is best for the baby. Of course, everyone has shortcomings. Auntie Sun is relatively direct and a little strong-willed, but she was a very good fit for someone like me, a complete beginner who wanted to learn. There may be different reviews online about any postpartum nanny, and every family’s requirements, living habits, and degree of adjustment will differ. I cannot draw conclusions about other people’s experiences. But I can say with great certainty that after spending more than a month with Auntie Sun day and night, I saw someone who is very hardworking, highly capable, experienced, willing to communicate, eager to learn, genuinely good to the baby, and very caring toward the mother as well. We were truly very lucky to meet her!

We feel especially fortunate to have met Auntie An through a friend’s introduction. Because our baby was premature, we were extremely anxious at first, but Auntie An’s highly professional care made all the difference. She not only has extensive childcare knowledge and many practical baby-care skills, but also genuinely loves and cares for children. Over this past month, our baby ate well, slept soundly, and gained weight very well. As a result, I was able to sleep through the night with peace of mind every day, and my postpartum recovery went especially well. Auntie An also patiently taught us her experience step by step, completely rescuing us first-time parents from our panic. Even more surprising is her excellent cooking! Her postpartum meals are nutritionally balanced and full of variety. She is especially skilled at baking pastries and preparing nourishing foods to help the body recover. We are truly so lucky to have found such a caring and capable maternity nanny. Highly recommended!

Five-Star Review: A True Champion Among Postpartum Nannies — Auntie Wang Auntie Wang is a highly experienced postpartum nanny. While she was caring for me in the hospital, seeing how professional, skilled, and organized she was brought one saying to mind: “Leave professional work to the professionals; in every trade, there is a master.” Auntie Wang is the master among postpartum nannies! She has a cheerful, warm-hearted personality. During the more than twenty days after I was discharged from the hospital, she often kept me company and chatted with me to lift my spirits. She is witty and humorous and often had me laughing so hard I could not stop. It felt like we had hired not only a postpartum nanny, but also a “source of joy.” What moved me most was her care for my babies. My twin babies were like they had been touched by magic in her hands—they ate well and slept soundly. Massaging and bathing the babies were also daily routines she never missed. She was equally meticulous with the postpartum meals: three meals a day, each with three dishes and a soup, followed by thoughtful nourishing snacks such as bird’s nest and snow lotus seeds. My older child liked Auntie Wang very much too and followed her around all day. The children’s father praised her again and again, saying that I had found the right person and that she was truly professional with children. Thank you again, Sister Wang, for your professional care and warm service! I strongly recommend her to every parent expecting twins! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review: A True Expert Among Postpartum Nannies — Auntie Wang Auntie Wang is an exceptionally experienced postpartum nanny (yuesao). While she was caring for me at the hospital, one saying kept coming to mind that describes her perfectly: “Leave professional work to the professionals — in every trade, there is a master.” Auntie Wang is truly the master of her field! She has a cheerful, warm-hearted personality. During the twenty-plus days after I was discharged from the hospital, she often chatted with me and kept me company. She has a wonderful sense of humor and often had me laughing until my cheeks hurt — she truly became the “joy bringer” in our home. What touched me most was her care for my twin babies. In her hands, it was as if a little magic had been worked — my babies ate well and slept peacefully. Giving the babies massages and baths became her daily ritual that she never missed. She also took great care with my postpartum meals — three meals a day, each with three dishes and a soup, plus thoughtful nourishing treats like bird’s nest soup and snow lotus seeds afterward. My older child adored her too, following her around all day long, and my husband praised her again and again, saying I had found the right person — truly professional with the babies. Thank you, Auntie Wang, for your professional care and warm-hearted service! I wholeheartedly recommend her to every family expecting twins!

She is truly a very reassuring postpartum nanny. She is easygoing and very easy to get along with. She helped us care for our third baby for three months. The baby was especially well-behaved and hardly fussed. She was the easiest baby in our family to care for. We all believe this was because the nanny gave her a strong sense of security. Most importantly, she truly loves babies. She does not simply treat caring for a baby as a job; she genuinely cherishes the baby and wants what is best for her. She is also very efficient and can quickly prepare a whole table of dishes. Everything is delicious, too. My husband and older children all love her cooking. In short, if she is available, do not hesitate—just book her!

Auntie Tong helped take care of both me and my baby throughout my postpartum confinement period. She is very attentive, patient, and responsible. My body was still recovering during confinement, and a newborn’s schedule is demanding, so Auntie Tong was very diligent with feeding, burping, diaper changes, bathing, and daily care for the baby. She also worked very hard helping care for the baby at night, allowing me more time to rest and recover. She was proactive in her daily work and always lent a hand wherever help was needed around the home. She was easygoing and comfortable to be around. In particular, she was very patient with the baby and genuinely loves children, which we could feel as parents. We are very grateful to Auntie Tong for the care and effort she gave our family during this time, and feel very fortunate to have had her help during my confinement period.

Sister He was truly a lifesaver—the most professional, patient, and best cook of all the postpartum nannies we have used! Because of a premature birth and scheduling conflicts, we temporarily hired two substitute postpartum nannies during the first month. After Sister He arrived, our baby’s stubborn diaper rash completely cleared up through her persistent efforts. Sister He is genuinely wonderful with babies. She feeds scientifically according to the baby’s needs, and whenever the baby needs something, she never minds the hard work. At night, she was also very gentle and patient with our poor sleeper, doing her best to help the baby sleep well and grow. By two months, our baby had become nice and strong under Sister He’s care! Sister He also offered many sensible and useful suggestions, recommended lots of helpful baby products, and, more importantly, helped me adjust my feeding schedule, eased all kinds of my anxiety, patiently answered all our questions, and taught us hands-on how to care for a baby so we could prepare to do it ourselves. She also listened carefully to my thoughts. Not to mention that Sister He’s cooking is unbelievably delicious—she made different tasty dishes for us every day, and everyone in the family gained five pounds 😂. I sincerely recommend Sister He to all the moms out there. It felt like life got better after she arrived. If we have a second child, we will definitely hire Sister He again. Today is Sister He’s first day after finishing with our family, and also the first day we miss her 🥰

We live in a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom home, and after our baby was born, we hired Auntie Zou to live with us and provide care. Overall, we were very satisfied. The biggest impressions were that she is independent, proactive, and easy to rely on, and she is quite experienced with newborns. - Learns quickly and works independently. She got up to speed very quickly and had her own rhythm for childcare, cooking, and daily tidying, without needing us to assign tasks every day. This saved us a lot of energy and gave us time to handle our own matters during the postpartum period. - Attentive with the baby. She was conscientious about daily care and would arrange simple interactions and activities based on the baby’s condition, such as sun exposure, tummy time, and gas-relief exercises. She also often talked to the baby, used black-and-white cards, and sang children’s songs to interact. - Cooking was a clear bonus. Auntie is quite good at home-style dishes that were light and tasty and suited our family’s preferences. She would plan meals and shopping herself (and is very familiar with Costco ingredients), so we did not have to worry much about that. - Highly proactive. Besides caring for the baby and cooking, she would also tidy and clean when she had free time, and many things did not need to be specifically requested. - Communication was smooth. There were occasional differences between some of her childcare habits and our preferences, but after we clearly stated our requests, she generally cooperated and adjusted. - She helps parents gradually learn to take over. She offered some advice on basic care such as feeding, holding the baby, and burping. As her service period was nearing its end, she also had us do more ourselves, making it easier for us to take over afterward. Overall, if you are looking for a postpartum nanny who can organize things independently, is experienced with newborns, cooks well, and makes daily life relatively worry-free, we would recommend Auntie Zou. Note: We do not have grandparents living with us, so daily communication and coordination were relatively simple. We do not have firsthand experience to evaluate this aspect for families where grandparents live together and multiple childcare opinions need to be coordinated.

Auntie Huang is very experienced and extremely attentive and patient with our baby. Not only does she take wonderful care of the baby’s daily needs, but she also helps the baby practice tummy time, visual tracking, grasping, and more. We could clearly feel that she genuinely loves children, which made us feel very comfortable leaving our baby in her care. Because our baby had been fed ready-to-feed formula in the hospital, the baby completely refused direct breastfeeding after coming home. At the time, I was almost ready to give up. But after Auntie Huang started working with us and learned that I wanted to breastfeed directly, she patiently helped me try again and again. She also helped relieve my breast engorgement and cooked various delicious soups and drinks for me every day to help increase my milk supply. At first, I would breastfeed first, and then Auntie would supplement with formula by bottle. Now I am basically able to breastfeed exclusively. I am especially grateful for Auntie Huang’s patience and encouragement throughout this process. In addition, Auntie Huang is an excellent cook and prepares food very beautifully. No matter what ingredients we bought home, she could make them delicious. We had some ingredients that had been stored at home for a long time, and she would find ways to turn them into different tasty dishes so they would not go to waste. She also kept the home exceptionally neat and organized; even after we added so many baby supplies, the house never became cluttered. Auntie Huang has a wonderful personality and is easy to get along with and communicate with. She respects our wishes and calmly reassured me emotionally. This made me feel very relaxed throughout my postpartum month, and my physical recovery also went smoothly. The 42 days passed in the blink of an eye. We feel very fortunate to have hired Auntie Huang, and we are very sad to see her leave. We wish her all the best going forward!

We booked Auntie Chen for a month to take care of me and our one-month-old baby. She took very good care of our baby and treated them like her own child. Every day, she gave them tummy time and exercises to help with digestion. She was very patient with our baby and spoke gently to them at all times. She made them smile many times, and I feel that they have become chattier after spending time with her. Auntie Chen was also meticulous about tracking our baby’s feedings, diapers, and sleep patterns. She suggested that we use an app to log this information. This came in handy during our visit with baby’s pediatrician, as well as during subsequent follow-ups. Additionally, Auntie Chen paid close attention to our baby’s health and gave suggestions on what formulas and vitamins to buy for them. I felt I could trust Auntie Chen to look after our baby. She was very fast and efficient at everything she did. She was proficient at interpreting baby’s cries and could tell if they were hungry, sleepy, or wanted her to carry them. She made sure they were in a safe position at all times. Lastly, she was respectful of our wishes and suggestions, such as only leaving the house with baby when one of us was present. Lastly, Auntie Chen’s food was very delicious and nutritious. The flavors were just right, nothing was too salty or oily. She adjusted her cooking to fit our vegetarian diet, and also baked many desserts for us. Her red bean coconut dessert and papaya milk was one of my favorites. 5/5 would recommend.

When I traveled to the United States in 2026 to give birth to my lovely daughter, Libao, Auntie Teng Xiu worked with our family as our maternity nanny. Throughout her time with us, Auntie Teng Xiu was highly responsible, gentle, and patient. She cared for the baby with great attention and thoroughness, which gave me great peace of mind and allowed me to rest and recover my postpartum strength and health. What impressed me most was that she had a very solid theoretical foundation in every aspect of childcare. Whenever I had questions about caring for my baby, she was always able to provide professional guidance and answers. During the entire postpartum confinement period, not only was the baby very well cared for, but I also gained a great deal of knowledge and skills, laying a solid foundation for caring for my baby myself afterward. At the same time, Auntie also did an excellent job caring for me as the mother. Her postpartum meals were light and delicious, and the postpartum drinks she prepared each day were also very tasty. With her attentive care, I got plenty of rest and was already full of energy before my confinement period was even over. Overall, I highly recommend Auntie Teng Xiu!

We feel incredibly fortunate to have had Zhang Jie care for our family, and we would hire her again without hesitation. She is exceptionally dependable, professional, hardworking, and caring, and we trusted her completely with our daughter. Zhang Jie joined us during a particularly challenging time. Our daughter spent her first 10 days in the NICU, while my wife was recovering from a C-section. Even though she could not yet care for the baby directly, Zhang Jie immediately found other ways to help and support our family. She prepared fresh, nutritious meals for us to bring to the hospital every day and was extremely attentive to my wife’s postpartum recovery. What touched us most was Zhang Jie’s care and emotional support for my wife. My wife does not speak Chinese, and Zhang Jie speaks limited English, but Zhang Jie seemed able to naturally sense when my wife was feeling low or especially needed comfort. Although they had only just met and did not share a language, Zhang Jie would take the initiative to hug her, comfort her, or simply stay by her side. She could understand others’ emotions without words and offer warmth and support. This thoughtfulness and empathy meant so much to us during one of the most difficult periods of our lives. Once our daughter came home, Zhang Jie continued to care for her with the same dedication and sense of responsibility. Our baby was not particularly easy to care for: she had significant gastroesophageal reflux and later needed oxygen while sleeping at night. Faced with these additional challenges and constantly changing circumstances, Zhang Jie never complained. Instead, she adapted carefully to our baby’s needs. No matter what happened, she always put our daughter’s safety, health, and comfort first. We always felt that, whatever the situation, we could leave our baby in her care with complete confidence. Zhang Jie also greatly respected us as parents. For example, when we wanted to try different sleep-training approaches, she was always willing to cooperate. Of course, she would also share her own opinions and suggestions based on her extensive experience, and we valued her input greatly. But if our final preferences differed from hers, she respected our decisions and cared for our baby in the way we requested. We appreciated this very much. Zhang Jie’s work ethic is also remarkable. She is always looking for ways to help. Even when we were caring for the baby ourselves and had told her to take a break, we would often find her cooking, vacuuming, cleaning, or doing other household tasks. Many of these were things we had never asked her to do and did not consider part of her main responsibilities. She is simply very hardworking and sincerely wants to help the family as much as possible. As a live-in postpartum nanny, Zhang Jie was also very easy to live with. She is independent, considerate, respectful of our privacy, and always tries not to add any burden to the household. Although my Chinese is limited and my wife does not speak Chinese at all, communication was never a real problem between us. Whenever something was not understood, Zhang Jie was always patient and would communicate slowly with us. When needed, she was also very willing to use translation apps until everyone fully understood one another. Most importantly, we could feel that Zhang Jie takes her work very seriously and genuinely cares about the babies and families she looks after. She combines extensive experience with a highly professional and responsible work ethic, while also being warm, empathetic, and hardworking. She not only took excellent care of our daughter, but also gave us a great deal of support as we became new parents during a very difficult period, making our lives much easier. We are truly grateful for everything Zhang Jie did for our family. We would feel completely comfortable and sincerely recommend her to any family looking for an excellent postpartum nanny or caregiver.

I was referred to Sister Cai by a friend, and I am very grateful for the attentive care she has given me and my baby during this time! Our whole family feels very lucky to have met her. Sister Cai is very experienced in caring for babies and is especially meticulous and patient. She kept the baby’s feedings, burping, baths, sleep, and daily care very well organized. In particular, when the baby was crying, had gas, or was sleeping restlessly, she would patiently observe the baby’s condition and find ways to soothe them, which gave us parents much greater peace of mind. In addition to caring for the baby, Sister Cai was also very thoughtful in caring for me as a new mother. She would proactively think of and take care of many things without needing to be constantly told. She works conscientiously and also keeps the home clean and tidy. What I find especially rare about Sister Cai is that she is not only professional, but also very easy to get along with. She has an easygoing personality, knows appropriate boundaries, and is very comfortable to communicate with. After living together in the home for such a long time, she never made us feel pressured; instead, she gradually became like family. She truly loves the baby and does not treat this as merely a job—this is something we could feel every day through our time together. For mothers who have just given birth, especially those who need help getting through the most difficult postpartum confinement period, a professional, responsible, and reassuring maternity nanny is truly so important. We are deeply grateful to Sister Cai for all her effort and companionship during this time, and I sincerely recommend her to other mothers! ❤️

Auntie Haiyan is truly highly recommended! Throughout the entire postpartum confinement period, she cared for the baby with great attentiveness, patience, and gentleness. She put a lot of care into every little detail for the newborn and patiently helped soothe the mother’s emotions, making the postpartum recovery process feel much more reassuring. Her postpartum meals were another major highlight. She prepared different dishes every day, with rich and nutritious combinations, and they were genuinely delicious—at a chef-level standard. Even more rare, Auntie Haiyan got along wonderfully with our older daughter. Our whole family likes her very much. Our older daughter talked about “Grandma Haiyan” every day and always wanted to play with her. She is especially warm and loving! Haha. We are very grateful to Auntie Haiyan for her thoughtful care during this time. She made our whole family feel so much warmth and peace of mind.

The nanny was conscientious and responsible in her work, and she was also very straightforward. She got along well with our family. From morning to night, she cared for the baby, prepared postpartum meals, and took care of things such as the mother’s postpartum herbal water. She was extremely hardworking. I really admired her energy. I often told her that if she needed it, my family could lend a hand in the afternoon so she could catch up on sleep, and we could take care of the baby at night. But she always said that when the baby slept, she would sleep too—even just a short nap was enough. I truly admired her energy. In caring for me postpartum, she carefully reminded me not to touch cold water or take food out of the refrigerator, saying she would do it instead. She also reminded me to wear socks and keep warm. When I was in a bad mood after giving birth, she would talk with me as well. In caring for the baby, she was also very attentive. When the baby developed acne for the first time, I thought it was eczema and used Tubby Todd. The nanny promptly reminded me to ask the doctor, saying it seemed to be acne rather than eczema and that such a heavy cream should not be used. She said we should simply wash the baby’s face with water and let it clear up naturally. She also noticed promptly when the baby had trouble breathing because of boogers in the nose, and so on. For sleep, she consistently insisted on settling the baby to sleep lying flat in the crib rather than holding the baby to sleep. We are very grateful to the nanny for accompanying us through the first month of my physical recovery and caring for our newborn. She allowed me to regain my strength and helped establish some sleep habits for the baby, so that my family and I could smoothly take over the baby’s care after she completed her placement.

Angela truly is my super helper! 🥹 On the parenting journey, I’m really grateful to have met her. Starting with my first baby (2024), when we didn’t understand anything, Angela guided us step by step in understanding our baby’s needs. She also gradually taught me how to be a mother who understands her baby while also knowing how to take care of herself. To me, she was not just a postpartum nanny, but more like an amazing parenting teammate who grew alongside our family. And I have to say, Angela’s cooking is truly, truly delicious! 😂 Besides taking meticulous care of the baby, she was also extremely attentive to the postpartum mother’s diet and daily life. Throughout the entire confinement period, she made us feel so reassured and happy. By the time I had my second baby (2026), unfortunately Angela had already been booked by another family, so we could not work together again. But even though we were no longer working together, she has still been very willing to help me outside of work. Whenever I message her with a question, she almost always replies immediately, and she always patiently gives me advice. She has truly helped me so, so much! Especially with helping our second baby learn to fall asleep independently: my husband and I originally had absolutely no idea what to do. We relied on all the incredibly useful information she shared and made adjustments little by little, and unexpectedly, we really slowly succeeded in the end! My husband and I both thought it was amazing 🤣 Along the way, whether with my first baby or my second, the guidance, information, and support Angela has given our family have been truly, truly precious. If I were to rate Angela, I would definitely give her full marks 💯! I’m truly grateful that I met such a wonderful postpartum nanny when I became a mother for the first time. I also feel fortunate that, even though we could not work together again with my second baby, she was still willing to stay with us and help us. Angela is absolutely a full-score postpartum nanny in my eyes. I highly recommend her! ❤️ The attached images include content of big sister accompanying us in our home two years ago, as well as offline questions about the second baby~~~

We booked a 60-day postpartum nanny service this time and were very fortunate to meet Auntie Ma, who was attentive and professional. The overall experience exceeded our expectations! Auntie Ma was highly experienced in caring for newborns. She handled daily feeding, burping, soothing the baby to sleep, infant massage, and more carefully and reliably. She patiently observed the baby’s condition and took excellent care of our very young baby. She also provided excellent care for me as a new mother, including breast-unblocking care, wound care, sponge baths, and facial care. She was thoughtful and considerate throughout, greatly easing my postpartum discomfort. Her cooking was excellent as well—the postpartum meals were well balanced and delicious, taking both nutrition and taste into account. She could truly be called a food expert. Auntie Ma has a gentle personality and is easy to communicate with. She works efficiently and diligently, notices what needs to be done, and never slacks off or shirks responsibility. She also proactively shared childcare experience, patiently taught us baby-care techniques, helped us organize our approach to parenting, and reduced the pressure on the whole family. The 60 days we spent together were warm and comfortable. I highly recommend her; families in need can choose her with confidence.

Auntie Wang has cared for both of our children. When I became pregnant with our younger child, I contacted her right away and booked her for six months starting from the baby’s birth. Now that the six months are almost over, our biggest regret is actually that we did not book her for a longer period from the beginning. Auntie Wang has extensive experience, patience, and love when caring for young babies. Our younger child was premature and had a weak suck at birth, while my milk supply was initially low after my C-section. Auntie Wang patiently supplemented the baby with formula at every feeding. The baby’s birth weight had been in a very low percentile, but after one or two months, the checkup showed she had caught up to around the 50th percentile. Auntie Wang also helps develop the baby’s abilities and routine according to her age. She observes the baby and, when the baby is well fed, well rested, and in a good mood, lets her lie down, do tummy time, play, and explore on her own. For sleep, she gradually helped her establish a regular schedule, learn to resettle herself between sleep cycles, and gradually wean off night feeds. The baby sometimes had setbacks during this process—she might sleep very well one day but wake up and fuss at night the next—and Auntie Wang would patiently soothe her. She is also very experienced with baby exercises, tummy time, practicing rolling over, bathing, and caring for eczema. Now, at six months old, our younger child can happily play independently for a while after she has eaten and slept enough. She falls asleep at around 9 p.m. every night, no longer needs night feeds, and recently has been able to sleep through until 6 or 7 in the morning. Even when she briefly wakes around 4 a.m., she can resettle without being picked up. Whether we let Auntie Wang take the baby out alone or both of us go to work and leave the baby completely in her care at home, we feel very reassured. We are also very grateful that Auntie Wang has formed such a wonderful bond with our four-year-old and has helped care for her a great deal while looking after the baby. Our older child wakes up early in the morning, and Auntie Wang helps her develop independence, such as dressing herself, while preparing breakfast and keeping an eye on her. Auntie Wang is also especially good at doing all kinds of beautiful braids for her, which her teachers and classmates often compliment. If we are out of ingredients our older child likes to eat, Auntie Wang reminds me to buy them; if she notices our older child has not been eating well for several meals in a row, she makes dishes that she likes. Auntie Wang’s cooking also suits my taste very well—it is nutritionally balanced, and she can make all kinds of dishes. Our older child loves drawing, and when she draws our family, she often includes Auntie Wang. Recently, when she learned that Auntie Wang would be leaving our home in a week, she said, “Then I need to make the most of the time to play more with Auntie Wang.” Auntie Wang takes great initiative and notices what needs to be done. When the baby reaches a new stage and needs a new bouncer, stroller, or other item, she finds it ahead of time and cleans it; when the baby’s supplies need replenishing, or there are changes in the baby’s recent schedule, she proactively communicates with us. She also often sees something that needs doing around the house and helps with it. For example, once our older child spilled an entire cup of milk, which soaked into the sofa. This was not part of her job, but she helped move the sofa, take apart and reassemble its components, and clean up the milk that had seeped inside. There have been many similar occasions. Another thing we especially value about Auntie Wang is that communication with her is honest and smooth. She shares her experience and ideas with us, while also being willing to listen to and respect our opinions. Auntie Wang has also always taken very good care of me. During the first few months after my C-section, she gave me postpartum recovery massages at home. We often chatted during the massages, which was also wonderful companionship for me shortly after giving birth. In daily life, Auntie Wang also takes care of me and encourages me to rest more. Over these past six months, she has regularly made me restorative drinks using ingredients such as American ginseng, codonopsis root, and astragalus. Auntie Wang is also very experienced with increasing breast milk supply and preventing clogged milk ducts. After spending time with her, we can see that Auntie Wang truly loves caring for children. She says she enjoys seeing babies change every day and gradually learn new things, and that it gives her a great sense of accomplishment. She also says that, as a maternity nanny or infant nanny, she believes she should adjust to the needs of different families. I think this kind of professional attitude is truly rare. If friends around me ask for recommendations for a maternity nanny or an infant nanny for a young baby, I would recommend Auntie Wang without hesitation. The six months passed in a flash, and our whole family is truly reluctant to say goodbye to her. We are very grateful to Auntie Wang for accompanying our younger child from when she was such a tiny newborn to now, at six months old, and for caring for our older child, me, and our whole family over these six months. We feel so fortunate that both of our children were able to have such a reassuring and trustworthy auntie.

We were truly very satisfied with the postpartum nanny we hired this time. The entire service was especially worry-free. She was very clean and efficient. She took the household cleaning and the baby’s care very seriously. Her cooking was also delicious, and she adjusted it according to our tastes, so we ate very comfortably during the postpartum period. What I found especially rare was her strong sense of responsibility. She was particularly attentive to the baby and handled everything carefully and conscientiously. Communication was also smooth and straightforward, and it was very easy and relaxed to get along with her. Any issues could be resolved promptly. Throughout the whole time, we hardly had to worry about much at all. She truly made us feel reassured and saved us a lot of trouble. We are very grateful for her care during this period and highly recommend her to families in need!

We hired Sister Xiong to care for our first child for three months. Before that, she had already cared for the babies of three of our friends. She had always had an excellent reputation, and only after working with her did we truly understand why. She genuinely loves babies. Every time my son smiled, she was happy too. When the baby made new progress, such as lifting his head for the first time, she was just as excited as we were. It was truly touching to see someone care for our child as wholeheartedly as we do. As a maternity nanny, she is very experienced and highly professional. During the first month, my son had difficulty latching, and Sister Xiong patiently helped him learn to latch correctly and to drink from a bottle. In the second month, he developed gas; I believe that if she had not consistently given him abdominal massages every day, it could very likely have developed into colic. No matter what issue came up, she was always calm and able to offer professional advice, helping us get through difficult times. She also noticed a small red spot on the baby's bottom early on and took preventive measures promptly. Throughout the rest of her care, he never developed diaper rash again. Every night, she gave the baby at least 30 minutes of full-body massage and did exercises to support his development, such as tummy-time training. My husband and I often said that our son was so lucky to have her. After giving birth, knowing that my child was being cared for so well gave me great comfort and allowed me to rest with peace of mind. In terms of postpartum care, she was equally attentive and thoughtful in caring for me. Every day, she prepared delicious and nutritious postpartum meals and tea drinks. She knew which foods replenish qi and which help promote milk production, and she took very good care of me. She also helped me learn to breastfeed and deal with blocked milk ducts. Near the end of my confinement period, she even soaked my feet every day to detoxify me. In getting along with others, Sister Xiong was wonderful with everyone. Both sets of our parents visited while she was caring for us, and everyone liked her very much. They all agreed that she was the best maternity nanny. We are extremely grateful for Sister Xiong's attentive care during this precious and special period of our lives. We highly recommend her!

Overall, we would strongly recommend Jiang Jiang for any family during the stressful post-partum period. She helped relieve a lot of anxieties and really took care of both baby and mom. My husband and I were looking for a daytime post-partum nanny (8 hrs a day from Monday through Friday) who can care for baby but also cook Chinese post-partum meals. A caveat is that I am Chinese American with moderate Mandarin-speaking skills and husband does not speak Mandarin. We interviewed several Yue shao, majority only spoke Mandarin. We were also particularly interested in the Yue shao’s responses to potential health emergencies and how to care for babies based on American Academy of Pediatric standards. Jiang Jiang was able to answer all our questions and we liked her experience of being a nurse in a confinement center in the past. We were lucky to have Jiang Jiang nanny for us for around 1 month with our newborn baby. This was our first baby so we had many questions and needed to learn everything. Jiang Jiang taught us everything from changing diapers, mixing formula, helping with baby latching, bathing a newborn, feeding via bottle, etc. Jiang Jiang was very gentle with the baby and with me. She gave her a bath twice a week after the umbilical cord fell off. She put aquaphor on baby twice a day to ensure baby’s body was well moisturized. She would rock the baby to sleep when she was fussy, and entertain her with black and white books and okay her music during playtime. She would listen to parents wishes but also add in her own expertise and experience to ensure the best for baby. Her intonation is always very kind and gentle, which is especially needed for moms during the stressful and high hormonal post-partum month. Aside from caring for baby, she also cooked 3 meals a day for my husband and me, and if we had 1-2 visitors. Her cooking also varied each meal and were delicious. She cleaned the kitchen, mopped the floor of our room and baby’s room, did the baby’s laundry and offered to do ours too (but I turned her down for our laundry). I always had a stock of warm drinks: teas, soy milk based smoothies, soups to help with breast milk production. Since we aren’t as familiar with grocery shopping she needed, she helped choose ingredients via Weee and we would order them for her. In her day, I never saw her not working. She was always doing something with baby, cooking, or cleaning. At baby’s 1 month, she made baby a mango mousse cake and decorations. We didn’t even think to do anything so this was much appreciated. Any family who has Jiang Jiang join them for a period of time will be very lucky! She will be missed!
