Negative review: Extremely irresponsible and completely lacking integrity. Expectant mothers, please choose carefully!
When I was five months pregnant, I booked this maternity nanny and paid a deposit. I thought arranging postpartum care several months in advance would let me give birth with peace of mind. Unexpectedly, she stood me up at the last minute on the day I was induced!
As early as three weeks before my induction, I clearly asked her to receive the necessary vaccinations to ensure the health and safety of my newborn. However, she never told me the true situation in advance. It was not until the very last moment, when I was about to give birth, that she told me she had not been vaccinated at all and could not come as agreed.
What I found most unacceptable was not only that she had not been vaccinated, but that she had plenty of time to communicate this in advance, yet chose to tell me only when I needed help most and had no time to find a replacement maternity nanny.
As a mother about to give birth, I booked a maternity nanny months in advance precisely to avoid being overwhelmed right before delivery. Her last-minute cancellation not only disrupted our entire family’s postpartum plans, but also caused me enormous stress and anxiety on the day I gave birth.
The most important qualities in this line of work are responsibility, integrity, and attention to newborn safety. Unfortunately, in my personal experience, I did not see these most basic professional qualities.
I am sharing this experience in the hope that other expectant mothers can learn from it. Families that pay a deposit in advance and rely on a maternity nanny for postpartum support should be especially careful when choosing.
Based on my personal experience, I believe this maternity nanny is very unreliable, and I would absolutely not recommend her.
