We have three children at home and have hired quite a few postpartum nannies and childcare providers. May is absolutely the best! She is highly skilled professionally, works especially efficiently, notices what needs to be done, and seems to have endless energy. She is not the kind of postpartum nanny who only finishes her own assigned duties; she treated our whole family like her own.
What left a deep impression on me was that I am very prone to clogged milk ducts. In the middle of the night, she ran up and down helping me with ice packs, massage, and milk expression. I felt it was too hard on her and told her to go rest, but she refused and handled everything herself. With my first two babies, I went to the hospital many times because of mastitis and suffered a lot, but this time, because of May, I got through it smoothly.
Her cooking is chef-level, truly worthy of someone who used to run a restaurant. Besides home-style dishes, she can also make many pastries, desserts, and more. One time, when my second child had a birthday, she proactively offered to prepare food for 30 people. I was super touched! All our friends praised how delicious it was!
After more than 40 days together, our whole family was very satisfied, and my body also recovered very well. If May’s later bookings had not been full, I really would have wanted to hire her for several more months. Being able to meet her was a very lucky thing!
I sincerely thank May for taking care of the baby and our family, and I hope more families can also meet such a wonderful postpartum nanny ❤️
(Adding one more note: facts have proven that being quick and efficient is so important. Other postpartum nannies I hired would spend several hours in the kitchen just cooking a meal, and I had to watch the children, which made it hard for me to rest well. But May not only works efficiently, she also arranges everything especially properly, so all I needed to do was rest. This is so important for postpartum confinement!)
