My husband and I hired Furong as our confinement nanny for four weeks following the birth of our third child, and she was an incredible support from the moment she arrived until the day she left. She worked tirelessly to prepare meals for our family, care for the baby, and support my postpartum recovery, often anticipating our needs before we even expressed them.
Food: 10/10
Furong prepared a wide variety of Chinese dishes throughout her stay. Her cooking was not only delicious but also healthy and well balanced. In four weeks, it felt like we had something new every day; she rarely repeated the same dish and always made sure the meals suited my recovery needs as well as our family’s preferences.
Baby care: 10/10
Whenever the baby needed anything, Furong was there—day or night. Her calm, experienced approach made a huge difference, especially during those early, sleep-deprived weeks. Even though this is our third child, we still learned a lot from her about caring for a newborn.
Recovery: 10/10
The first month at home with our daughter would have been far more stressful without Furong’s help. Because of her hard work and steady presence, I was able to focus on resting, healing, and bonding with my baby, instead of worrying about meals or household tasks.
Overall, Furong is honest, easy to work with, and incredibly hardworking. We are very grateful for her care and would wholeheartedly recommend her to any friends or family looking for a confinement nanny.

My husband (white American) and I (Haitian American) recently welcomed our first child, and we feel incredibly lucky to have had Furong Wang as our confinement nanny. As a mixed-race couple navigating new parenthood, we weren’t sure what to expect, but Furong exceeded all our expectations in every possible way.
From day one, Furong brought calm, confidence, and deep knowledge to our home. She is incredibly experienced in the care of both postpartum mothers and newborns. She instinctively knew how to soothe our baby when he was fussy and made sure he was always clean, comfortable, and well-cared for. Her gentle and attentive nature was exactly what our little one needed.
Furong’s support extended to me as a new mother as well—she prepared delicious, healthy meals tailored to postpartum recovery and always made sure I was resting, hydrated, and feeling my best. Her food was both nourishing and flavorful; every meal was made with care.
One of the things we appreciated most was how well she communicated with us. Furong speaks very good English, and when small language gaps arose, she quickly used a translation app to make sure everything was clearly understood. We always felt comfortable and on the same page with her.
We also have a pug, and Furong was great with him! It was such a relief to see that she was comfortable around pets and could handle the dynamic of a baby and a dog in the same home.
If you're an English-speaking family considering a confinement nanny, we highly recommend Furong Wang. She brought so much peace and stability to our household during those first few weeks, and we are deeply grateful for her care, kindness, and professionalism.

Furong was such an amazing help to me during my postpartum period and I cannot recommend her enough!! I had an unplanned cesarean and did not know how much pain I would be in. But I am so glad that’s made the decision to hire her. She took care of me and my baby, with care and joy. She cooked warm meals and healing teas. I would recommend anyone to hire her, she will be the expert you need in your home to get you through the difficult period of rest, recovery and bonding with your baby. Another bonus is she speaks English which was a must for us! Five stars!

王芙蓉阿姨是10月份在我家工作。第一天就不专心工作，专门打听我家事。对着脸问我家里的各种事。感觉她不是来工作的，是警察上门调查。手机不断聊天，把我家情况马上告诉其他人。我家里每个人都很反感。想如果技术好就留下她。通过观察，她照顾宝宝非常不会，基本的技能都很生疏，使用奶瓶都不熟练。跟面试时她说的完全不同。感觉被她骗了。果断叫她离开。最可恶的是她还要我们支付她额外的中介费，感觉是敲诈。就想赶快让她离开我家，这不是月嫂是瘟神，是噩梦。
现在想起来都不能平静！不吐不快！给后人惊醒！
