We were very lucky to meet Sister Fu and have her become our postpartum nanny! 🥹
Especially since my husband and I are overseas with absolutely no backup support, as first-time parents we really needed someone like Sister Fu who could accompany us through the onboarding process!
I still remember Sister Fu’s first day. As soon as she stepped into our home, she heard the baby crying loudly, and the very next second, once the baby was in Sister Fu’s arms, the baby was soothed 😂 At that moment I really felt: our savior had arrived!!
With Sister Fu around, Mom could rest and recover with peace of mind, and we could also feel comfortable entrusting the baby to her care. During this period, I even felt like I barely heard the baby cry 😂 because Sister Fu could always quickly read the baby’s needs and respond right away. Watching the baby become more and more settled under her care, more and more like an angel baby, was truly amazing!
What I am most, most grateful to Sister Fu for is accompanying me through the first big postpartum hurdle—breastfeeding.
I was a mom whose milk came in relatively slowly and whose supply was not very high. At the beginning I was truly very anxious and often could not help blaming myself. Sister Fu not only took care of my body and adjusted and supplemented my diet according to my condition, but more importantly, she kept supporting my emotions with so much positive energy and encouraging me.
On the day my milk finally came in successfully, the two of us were so happy that we danced around together 🤣🤣 Although my milk supply is still improving now, at least my mindset is already much better than it was at the beginning. Having someone after giving birth who can take care of the mother’s “mood” is truly super important!
We are also very grateful that Sister Fu shared everything without holding back and was super willing to share. Every time I listened to her share parenting knowledge, I said it felt like watching a YouTube or Xiaohongshu tutorial livestream 😂 It was truly packed with useful information, with absolutely nothing held back!!
From how to observe the baby and understand the baby’s needs, to all kinds of small details in daily care, she helped the two of us first-time parents build confidence little by little, and we increasingly believe that after Sister Fu leaves, we can slowly become competent mom and dad.
I feel that Sister Fu’s “postpartum care” has never been just about caring for the mother, nor just the baby, but the whole family; not only physical recovery, but also emotional support. More importantly, she is teaching us—after 42 days, how to continue taking good care of our own lives and our baby.
Finally, I absolutely have to say in particular: Sister Fu’s cooking is really super good!! 🤣 She completely satisfied all kinds of cravings for me, a northern-style noodle lover. Every day I looked forward to what delicious food there would be today!
Thank you so much, Sister Fu, for accompanying us through such an important, chaotic, yet happy period of our lives ❤️
We truly feel very lucky to have met Sister Fu!
