Ally is an amazing doula and was a huge source of guidance and support during our forth trimester. They offered useful advice around lactation, caring for our little one, and self care during our overnight sessions. They prepared a light, nutritious breakfast for our family as well as hand blended teas for lactation and healing. Their calming energy was exactly what our family needed during our transition into parenthood. Any question we had between sessions about newborn care or lactation they would answer quickly and offer additional resources for further guidance. We would absolutely recommend Ally to anyone looking for doula support.

My husband and I were so happy to have Ally by our side for the delivery of our son! Leading up to our due date, our prenatal sessions with Ally were super informative and made me, as the birthing person, feel as prepared as possible. It was also reassuring to have both Ally and my partner on the same page about my preferences in advance, which allowed me to go into the final weeks of pregnancy feeling supported. Most of all, I deeply appreciated Ally's calm, zen, and overall positive nature. That is exactly what I needed most leading up to and during birth. I ended up being induced and having a vaginal delivery with an epidural. Once we were far enough along with the induction and had Ally join us, she created such a peaceful environment for me and reminded me about the progress I was making during labor to greet our little one. I have a lot of fond memories from the birth of my son, a large part of which I attribute to the people - like Ally - in the room and the environment we created and knowledge I was armed with in advance. I highly recommend Ally and her doula services. Beyond her doula skills, as a human Ally is also sweet. I was comfortable with her right away when we had our first meeting. Our OB and nurses also commented on how nice it was to have her there with us during birth!

Ally was our incredible, giving, peaceful, easy, steady, intuitive doula.  This was our second baby and we did a homebirth with Ally.  Ally met with me in home several times as we got ready for the birth. She made me feel so confident and excited. She did a mini birth class refresh for us. She brought all kinds of tools / bouncy ball / resources and strategies for pain managment and setting a beautiful zen scene with candles, scents, music.  It was everything I could have dreamed of.  Lol And then as can happen, everything went wildly fast. Labor was basically 2.5 hours and midwife and Ally barely made it in time. We had a beautiful second daughter in our bathtub before we had time to set up the birthing pool.  Then Ally stayed and took care of us for hours. She helped me breast feed, made coffee, got snacks, helped us process the insanely fast birth and stayed around until we were totally confident and comfortable with our new babe. She came back the next week and we all talked through the birth again and celebrated together. I cannot recomend her enough as a doula. Her vibe is perfect. She's gentle yet grounded and just loves babies and kids.  Wish I could have another baby just to work with Ally again, but we're happy as a family of 4.   Definitely book Ally is you want an experienced, generous, zen, sweet, sensitive, skilled, competent doula.
