Fee Details
I provide birth doula services including child birth education and material from the educated birth. I offer 3 prenatal meetings for birth plan and preparing for labor. I’m present for active labor through delivery. I stay for the initial 45 mins post birth to assist with any breastfeeding help. I offer 2 postpartum follow up visits that can be up to a month postpartum. All visits are an hour long. I make myself available via call and text as well from contract signing to our last postpartum visit. As a certified doula, perinatal mental health therapist, and certified lactation counselor, I offer my services for a fee of $1,750.

From the first phone call, Mary brought a calm and assuring presence. I knew from that quick 15 minute chat that she was the right doula for me and my baby. At every meeting and with each text, Mary exuded a peaceful, knowledgeable energy that gave me both peace and confidence. I knew I could do this because Mary knew I could do this. She helped me with every fine detail of my birth plan, informed me do alternative options so I could make the decisions that were right for me, and supported me wholeheartedly no matter which option I chose. The entire birth experience was a dream, and I have her to thank for a lot of that. She also took care of my partner with snacks, coffee and water during the birth. She really thought of everything. Having Mary on my birth team was an incredible blessing. I recommend her to all my friends seeking a doula.

I had the pleasure of having Mary as my doula for my fourth baby. This was my first experience trying for a birth without an epidural. I was nervous going in, but Mary was amazing at providing resources and answering all of my questions prior to the birth. During my actual experience, she was incredible at supporting me and helping me navigate changes we had to make along the way. She also really helped in advocating for me when there were disagreements with my doctor on how to proceed forward. She made me feel so comfortable and supported and helped me achieve the birth I wanted. Postpartum, she ensured I had additional resources for breastfeeding, pumping, and even helped come up with activities to keep my older kids occupied while solo parenting. Overall, I would recommend Mary and her services to any mama looking for an amazing birth experience.

Mary was absolutely amazing to work with. She provided constant support and answered all of my (many, many) questions without hesitation, and she always provided evidence based research to support her answers. She was flexible with meeting times and even ensured she had TWO backup doulas when I had to be induced earlier than planned, even though she was available within the hour! She helped us write our birth plans (Plans A, B, and C) and made sure to include all of our wishes. When the labor didn't go as expected, she was there to provide support to me and my family and to make sure the hospital staff respected my wishes. I cannot say enough good things about Mary, and I'm so glad she was with us throughout the pregnancy, during labor, immediately after the birth of our daughter (if it weren't a C-section, she would have been right there for the birth!), and postpartum. I highly, highly recommend her if you are looking to hire a doula.

My husband and I had the pleasure of having Mary as our birth Doula for my pregnancy and the delivery of my daughter, who was born in December 2021. I was so nervous and apprehensive about having someone I didn't know so involved, but she was so very helpful throughout the entire process, and she will forever be a part of our birth story!! Her calm and sweet spirit was definitely the cherry on top to our experience.

We cannot recommend Mary's doula services enough! In the past month since giving birth, we have talked quite a few times about how grateful we were to have Mary's support during our 26.5 hour labor & delivery. Mary met with us in our home three times prior to giving birth, and these meetings helped us to prepare our birth plan, practice coping techniques and set our expectations for the birthing process, amongst many other things. Mary has excellent communication, has an immense knowledge of resources for pre-birth, birth and post-birth, and she does a diligent job at helping to maintain a positive, calm and nurturing environment throughout it all. We had to transfer from the birthing center to the hospital during our labor process, and with Mary's help and guidance, we were able to successfully welcome our baby into the world with as few interventions as possible. We cannot recommend Mary and her services enough.
