Fee Details
I am a professionally trained doula through DONA International. I attend births at any location in the Twin Cities metro. Whether you are birthing at home, at a birth center, or hospital, I am here to support you. In addition to my professional doula training, I have a masters in Child Development with a specialization working with infants and their families. I have over 10 years of experience working with children and caregivers and have spent over 5 years providing trauma informed care and support. My fee includes a complementary meeting to see if we are the right fit, 2 prenatal sessions, availability by phone/text for any questions you have between appointments, on call 24/7 for your birth, continuous physical, emotional, and educational support during your labor and birth, 2 postpartum visits, and continued text support for 12 weeks postpartum.

Anya was our doula for our second birth. She paid careful attention during our prenatal visit and recalled my preferences during labor. She was also passionate and knowledgeable about helping me and my husband prepare our firstborn, almost 3 years old, for the arrival of his new brother. I had a fast labor, and she provided a calm presence and physical support, for both my husband and me. When I didn't need physical support, she found opportunities to take photos of special moments during labor and birth, which I treasure. She took notes with time stamps, which I appreciate, as the timeline can get fuzzy really fast in the postpartum period! She made sure to give us space during our postpartum visit to process, ask questions, and reflect on how the transition went with our firstborn. We are so glad we had Anya on our birth team!
