When I decided to go unmedicated for my 3rd delivery, I knew I wanted extra support to help me with pain management which led to me finding Tara.
During our first conversation, she was very empathic of my past birthing experiences and gave me reassurance and hope that it is possible to have a positive birth experience.
She went above and beyond during my pregnancy answering any questions and concerns I had and helped me work through the mental struggle and fears of going unmedicated.
She was with me as soon as I arrived at the hospital and helped me through a very intense and fast labor and I don’t know how I would’ve handled the pain if it weren’t for her support and guidance through the whole process.
It was also reassuring to see the established relationship Tara had with the medical staff and I believe her presence allowed all my delivery wishes to be met without pushback.
While I never thought I’d want extra support outside of my husband during delivery, we both feel she was the key part in helping me finally get the birth I always envisioned for myself. And for that, I’ll be forever grateful.
