Kristin was an absolute blessing! She was a wealth of knowledge before and after my home birth. She got to us quickly and helped with pain management as my labor got more intense. She was able to give my husband a break with hip squeezes and it was really helpful! She took some photos during labor and birth that I did not expect to have but am very thankful for. She knew exactly what I needed to hear during labor to help cope with the pain and suggested I try laboring on the toilet which helped move things along!For our postpartum visit, she went over our labor with us and helped us to process everything. I honestly don't know what I would have done without her support during labor and delivery. Working with Kristin is one of the best decisions we made for our home birth! She is now a friend for life. I would definitely recommend her as a doula to anyone.

It is a sincere pleasure to be able to write this review for Kristin! During my second pregnancy, I knew I wanted to hire a doula because I intended to have a homebirth. (My first pregnancy was with twins and I delivered vaginally at a hospital, with an epidural.) One of many things I appreciated about Kristin, is that she is follower of Jesus; and my husband and I wanted to have the support of someone spiritually like-minded. Kristin was incredibly encouraging during my pregnancy, which reinforced my confidence in having a homebirth and knowing that I would have a supportive birth team. My labor and delivery proved to be so quick that our twins' caregivers didn't arrive in time. However, Kristin proved to be incredibly helpful and stepped into the role of assisting with the children while we waited for their caregiver to arrive. She was willing to help in anyway. Kristin's professionalism and calming presence only added to my positive homebirth experience. She also took the time to check-in, during my postpartum. Again, her support during this time has proven to be greatly appreciated. I am so thankful to have had Kristin's support and encouragement during this special season. I highly recommend her to anyone that is interested in hiring a doula for their birth team!

Kristen kept my mind clear and focused during my labor. Without her, it would have been a completely different and probably difficult labor. I can easily say I had a positive birth experience because of her help!
