The Orion Doula Care birth support package includes: - 3 prenatal visits to cover childbirth education, birth preference planning, hospital advocacy, postpartum preparation, hands-on body work, emotional preparation and processing, lactation preparation and support, and more. - Unlimited phone/text/email support beginning when the contract is signed. - 24/7 on-call support starting at 38 weeks & continuous support throughout your labor, birth, and immediate postpartum period. - 1 postpartum visit - Lactation support and education - Resources, referrals, community recommendations and more

Rigel was my postpartum doula after my second kid was born. She filled the role of so many different people I needed during that time -- holding space for my emotions, keeping me company, sharing her expertise, validating with generosity and curiosity my choices as a mom, caring for and playing with my baby, entertaining my pre schooler, cooking delicious food, and ultimately becoming a friend. I tell everyone I know to get a postpartum doula because my experience with Rigel was so supportive. I am so happy she made her way to this work and love knowing how she will help so many new parents and families through her doula practice.

Rigel worked with my partner and I to usher us through the very emotional and confusing process of having one's first child. She was great! Honestly couldnt say enough positive things about her. She pariently and calmly guided us to the birth of our baby boy. She helped us make a plan and advocated for our wishes once in the hospital. She was a calm voice in the storm.So glad we had a doula and even happier that it was Rigel! Book her before simeone else does!

Rigel was such a good match for our family. As a doula, she really listened and followed our lead. Sometimes that can be hard to balance with also sharing your expertise, and she balanced those things so well: keeping us informed about our options, and following our preferences. She also was a clear communicator throughout about her holiday availability for our holiday due date. She gave me peace of mind and confidence as a first time mom!

Rigel has an amazing mix of extreme competence, a relaxed attitude, and a lighthearted approach, which is absolutely what my husband and I were looking for in a postpartum doula! She really showed us how to care for our newborn baby while also fostering our independence. I couldn't recommen dher more highly.

Rigel literally saved me from a c-section! When my birth plan dramatically changed due to complications, she did everything in her power to guide me through this difficult process.
My pregnancy was easy and uneventful, with no high risks, and I passed all tests perfectly. During labor, I suddenly developed severe pre-eclampsia, had an infection, and was super close to kidney failure. All this happened because my labor was 44 hours long, due to the baby not being in the optimal position (head down but sideways). While nothing worked to turn the baby from a medical point of view, Rigel suggested to the doctor an experimental technique with a rebozo, and it worked! Without that, I would have ended up with a c-section.
My husband also felt very comfortable with Rigel; she supported both of us, and we can't recommend her enough. We are very grateful. If you hire Rigel, you will have a strong support and birth advocate in your corner.

What a wonder Rigel was for our family after the birth our our 3rd baby! She was so attentive to our needs and our baby's and showed up with such a positive attitude! The energy she brought to our home was amazing and so uplifting! She was comfortable with us, our newborn and our toddlers. She was helpful caring for our entire family - the baby and her needs, and our family's (meal prep, postpartum support, and general assistance). I give Rigel my highest praise! And would recommend her wholeheartedly!

Rigel was our postpartum doula. She absolutely saved us during the very overwhelming first couple months with our baby. Her knowledge of lactation and feeding helped us introduce bottles, and her warmth and skill in caring for our baby was endlessly impressive. Can't reccomend Rigel enough!!
