Vibes! Vibes! Vibes!
I had a low intervention birth at Houston Methodist hospital and as soon as Chaka arrived she immediately was ready to set the tone for the room! She started with some essential oils, music, good conversations, suggestions to help baby come down I mean a true support system! I really appreciate Chaka throughout this entire experience both dad and I both enjoyed the insight and help! I definitely recommend anyone I can to have a doula but more specifically have her as a doula. Couldn't have asked for a better support system, maybe in the future if another baby comes, I'll definitely want her services again!

Having Chaka as a Doula was a great experience. She helped me to understand that it's okay to vocalize that I need help, something that I rarely did. Even though I didn't have the birth I desired Chaka was still there for guidance and I will forever cherish that! I gave birth over four months ago and she still checks in on me and my baby.

We started meeting Chaka around the time we have been trying to conceive, sadly my pregnancy resulted in a miscarriage and I was lucky to have Chaka as my Doula during this process. She made me feel safe and understood, heard and guided, I felt comfortable asking sensitive questions I wasn't able to ask my doctor about the loss process. Chaka has helped me heal and should we ever try to conceive again, I know that Chaka will continue to be an invaluable support for me.

Theirs so much to say about a Great person Chaka is. Chaka really understood what I needed during and after birth. When I find out I was expecting we had been super excited but then it became overwhelming. Running a small business, kids, husband pretty much everything was getting overwhelmed for me. My friend suggested to looking into getting a Doula. I had no idea what was a Doula. I mention it to my husband and we did our research. After reading several good benefit we decided to look for a Doula. We came across Chaka page and I thank God I did. She suggested my husband to be their with me when she explain the process. That was a one plus since she took into consideration my husband. She made my labor process go smooth. Unfortunately because of Covid our hospital only allowed one person besid me. Chaka did not wanted to take my husband spot so we agree we would have her via zoom. When I went into labor it was 10pm she was quick to answer. She prepared herself. I could see she Went into a quiet room herself and gave my husband a few instructions in order for me to feel comfortable. I was impress of her professionalism. Never did I experience anything like this with my two other labors. She staid up until 1:30am after giving birth. She definitely understand a mothers labor. She follow up with us after and she was also able to assist with my postpartum. Our 6months was so beneficial both my husband and I are very pleased with her. She provided several tools of support for my husband as well.
We referred her to several of our Friends. Thank you Chaka, for being my Doula

She is a blessing from GOD I don't know how I would have gotten through my pregnancy without chaka I love her and thank her for everything she has done for me and all the advice she has given me thank you so much

Chaka Parker is an amazing doula. She has your best interest at heart. She was very professional at all times! Chaka always made sure I was very comfortable. She even gave advice to my husband to make sure he knew what to do as well during my labor. If you are thinking about getting a doula please choose her, you won't regret at all!

Chaka is such a bright light with great energy! We’ve been friends for more than 15 years and when we decided to expand our family we didn’t hesitate to call on her to be our doula. We have used her in 2019 and 2020 for our surrogacy births and she made sure to be supportive of the surrogate, my husband, and myself throughout the pregnancies and deliveries. She provided us with a lot of information and resources. She responds quickly and answered all our questions. When necessary she provided virtual support during this pandemic which was totally worth it. Her energy and enthusiasm to go above and beyond was unmatched! We cannot recommend her enough. We are forever thankful for her and would definitely use her services again if we go for surrogate baby #3!
