Ruth was wonderful to work with. The course material was helpful and practical. As a first time Mom it was so helpful to have her talk me through the signs and steps of labour, and things that may be helpful to handle them. A super supportive and kind person with a wealth of knowledge. Great experience!

I contacted Ruth two days before being induced and she gladly made room to take me on. We met in person a day before induction and she made us feel so comfortable and that we made the right choice having a doula. Ruth was amazing, warm and had a wealth of knowledge while the induction and birth happened. I felt a sense of peace with her presence.

We feel so fortunate and thankful to have had Ruth as our doula. Her calm demeanor and vast knowledge helped us feel more comfortable and less intimidated about the whole experience. She gave so much of her time and energy to create a positive birth story. Ruth knew when to step in and help and also when to step back and allow my husband to support me as we figured out how to work as a team through the life changing experience of bringing a little life into this world. Ruth followed up afterwards to check in to see how things were going and to provide helpful postpartum tips too. We couldn’t recommend Ruth highly enough. ♥?

Where to begin? Our first birth was unsupported. It was just my husband and I and it went sideways. Leading up to this delivery I was getting anxious because I felt we needed support. For both my husband and I. We reached out to Ruth and without hesitation she was willing to be by our side. We cannot imagine having done this without her. How we ever survived the first birth without her we don't know! During labour she was not only by my side helping me through each contraction, she was a comfort and an incredible support. When I felt overwhelmed with decisions she helped explain everything to me and made me feel supported in whatever I chose. When my husband passed out during the delivery, you could imagine my anxiety over that, but Ruth was right there by my side comforting me and encouraging me. Postpartum I was nervous about anxiety creeping up again. She was there supporting me and giving me tips on how to manage it and my ever changing hormones. Because of her support I felt strong postpartum and it's been a quick journey to feeling like myself again. Like I've stated already, we cannot imagine not having had her by our side. We feel so incredibly lucky!
