Fee Details

I have been a birth doula since 2018, when I received my DONA training. The following year I became a trained birth educator. I recently finished a year of midwifery training with more than exceptional scores. I am BLS certified through the American Heart Association and NRP certified through American Academy of Pediatrics. I am passionate, knowledgeable, and proactive. Having a doula at your birth is associated with fewer interventions, less anxiety, as well as an increased sense of power, control, and comfort. I can help you create a birth plan, provide tips for packing your birth bag, teach you and your partner effective comfort techniques for early labor, and so much more. When the big day arrives, I’ll be there by your side, offering unwavering support for as long as you need.

Heather was amazing during my labor. She made all the difference. She had the best tips and tricks for getting baby to move into the right position. One of the small things she did that helped me relax was bringing out little led candles during the water laboring portion of time. She was extremely helpful during transition and helped make my all natural laboring expierence possible. I would definitely recommend her to friends and family and would definitely come to her again if I have another baby!

I found out I was pregnant in October of 2020 and Heather has been with me every step of the way. She has answered repeated questions all through the day and night, she attended appointments with me, and she was there when my son was born. Even now, with him at 3 months, she's still giving me advice and offering to attend appointments with me. I don't know what I would do if she wasn't there with us. I've given her contact information to other pregnant couples because Heather is an incredible woman and doula

During my pregnancy Heather was always really nice and quick to help us with any questions we had. Heather is really knowledgeable and always does her research to make sure the Information and suggestions she gives to mothers are proven to work and won't waste your time with wifestales or things that don't really work. I started labour March 26th 2020 and my water broke early on March  27th 2020 however, I did not birth my son until  later on the 29. I felt very nervous going into the hospital because I wasn't exactly sure what to expect and was afraid knowing Heather was not able to be there due to Covid 19 restrictions in the hospital. It was a very long hard birth but having Heather give us support and encouragement over the phone was invaluable for me to feel more informed and like I could make it through labour naturally when hospital staff kept pushing to intervene. As well as help give my partner encouragement and guidance as he was also afraid. During Labour she helped with advice on how to cope with the pain and sent suggestions on  positions to help along the labor process. She continued to check on us in post Partum.  You can tell she loves what she does and the families she works with I would definitely have her as my doula again.
