This wonder of a woman right here was an invaluable, irreplaceable, crucial and key part in the successful birth of our Son!
Danielle was my Doula (Birth Coach). ?????
When I was pregnant and making plans and decisions for what I wanted my birth to look like I had pondered the thought of having a doula. Danielle reached out to me through the Fort Rucker wives Facebook page.
Knowing Ryan and I would be moving away from family and friends to a whole different state to have our baby I was relieved at the idea of having more support.
With her affordable price and calming sweet voice I was quick to ask her to be our coach!
Throughout the pregnancy even with distance Danielle was attentive, encouraging, informative, and answered any questions or concerns I had. Her and I discussed my goal to have an unmedicated/natural birth. I learned so much from her and she was very accepting but wise and encouraging with whatever decision I was deciding to make for my birth plan.
Once we finally arrived to Alabama, weeks before I was due, Danielle helped calm my nerves and make the best decisions about induction and planning my birth.
My birth was not average and nothing I expected. I do not think that I would have been as successful in achieving my goal if I did not have Danielle. Ryan also was grateful for her team work and support along side him during labor. They were my rocks during the intense moments and pain for contractions.
There are to many moments to share and not enough ways to say thank you.
I believe EVERY woman should have a doula (Especially if it’s Danielle:) for their birth, even if you have different goals you will be sure to achieve them with a Doula!
P.s. Thanks for being my barn cat??

Two months ago I gave birth to my sweet girl with Danielle right by my side as my doula. I met Danielle when I was five months pregnant and honestly I wish I had known her ever since I saw that positive. Before meeting and hiring her I had always known the importance of having a doula but I don't think I understood just how important until I went through pregnancy, labor, and delivery. I needed someone to be my rock and that's exactly what she was. Whenever I was scared during my pregnancy she was the first one I called to help calm me down. During labor all I needed to do was take one look into her eyes and I felt safe. When I held my daughter for the first time in my arms, Danielle cried tears of joy right alongside me and my family. Even after giving birth there have been a few times where mommy guilt has gotten to me and Danielle has reassured me that I'm doing a good job. Every step of the way she has been there.
Words cannot express the gratitude I feel towards her for everything she has done. Danielle truly went above and beyond my expectations. For my next baby I'm already planning on hiring her again. I recommend her 100%
