Hello, my name is Judy. I am a wife and mother of 6 grown children. I became a doula so I could help women through this most important time of their lives, the birth of their baby. My desire is to help support emotionally and physically so this can be a positive experience for both mother and father. I am trained in both birth and bereavement, so when you are in need of special support, someone to walk through this loss with you, I will walk with you and honor your tiny one. As a birth doula a deposit of $250.00 will be due when contract is signed, the remaining $350.00 is due at 37 weeks. Please call for details of all the services this includes. My bereavement services are free. https/:judyshawbirthdoula.com

Throughout our pregnancy there were several potential concerns with our baby and she was always available to talk through our options and to offer encouragement when we needed it. She provided helpful tools in preparing for labor and was faithful in her commitment during labor and delivery of our daughter. What also stood out to us was knowing that she was praying for our family throughout the whole pregnancy.

Judy was our doula for our 2nd daughter's birth. Hey steady bearing was of great value to is during a difficult birth. She demonstrated great knowledge before the birth, but anyone can get knowledge. The greatest value she offers from my perspective is an unflappable character that makes her a rich you can lean on no matter how tough things get.

I could not have done it without her. Having Judy there at my side gave me the support I needed to make it through. She was also there for my husband, giving him breaks, discussing ideas, being an encouragement to him. My delivery was quite long and exhausting and neither of us can imagine having done it without her.
She timed contractions, gave helpful ideas, got me food, spoke uplifting words, wrote down the events of the evening so I would have records to look back on, and was just there offering her presence and help. She was never pushy or overbearing, but waited till she was needed. When things got rough and hours and hours went by, she was still there, holding my hand.
I am so thankful to have had her as my doula. I will definitely use her again for future births.

Judy was the doula for my son's birth and it was a huge help to both my wife and I. Her constant support and experience was reassuring and she knew just what my wife needed in order to feel confident throughout the whole thing.
