The nanny has been working as a maternity matron for more than ten years and is extremely experienced. You can tell just from how she handles the baby: her movements are very quick and skilled, she can correctly read all kinds of signals from the baby (sleepy, fussy, hot), and she answered all of our questions very well. Our baby had a bit of nipple confusion right after birth, and she patiently tried different methods over and over, successfully helping the baby accept both direct breastfeeding and bottle-feeding well. She also paid great attention to the baby’s hygiene care, changing diapers promptly, washing the baby’s bottom frequently and thoroughly, and often washing the baby’s face, hands, and feet and wiping away eye discharge and boogers. After the baby entered the second month, she proactively discussed with us how to help establish the baby’s sleep habits, gave us lots of advice, and helped us set up a routine so that both the adults and the baby could get good rest at night.
For postpartum care, during the confinement period she cooked postpartum recovery water every day to help with recovery, lochia discharge, and replenishing energy. She is also very good at making flour-based foods and kept finding different ways to make all kinds of things for me to eat, while also meeting the need for light but nutritious postpartum meals. As first-time parents, we had questions about every signal the baby made and were sometimes even very anxious. Every time, she patiently used her many years of professional experience to explain things to us and provide solutions, which made us feel reassured. She also gave us many little tips for the baby’s feeding and care afterward.
The nanny is about to finish her assignment, so I hurried over to give her a big positive review! I really have to say that thanks to her, I had an easy and comfortable confinement period, and the experience was especially good!
