Choosing Feng Ayi (auntie) was the best possible decision we’ve done for my recovery and my baby’s growth. From the moment I first contacted Ayi via weixin, she spoke calmly and deliberately. You could tell she was full of patience and kindness. It was easy to communicate with her, and even though my husband didn’t speak Chinese, she was able to chat with him and even teach him some! Ayi was also amazing with my parents and in-laws who would drop into our house for random periods of this time. Ayi’s experience with newborn care was extraordinary. She is able to rest when the baby sleeps. She is like a baby translator, being able to tell what the baby needs and even tell you early signs of their little personality. It was lovely to know that she can not only coach you in taking care of your baby, she was always there to take over when you need a break. She takes care of him overnight from the very first night, and I was even able to get a couple full night sleep before starting the lactation session every few hours. By the 6th week or so, us parents were even able to get a dinner out! With her help, my recovery was very smooth. She fed us so well. Both my husband and I foodies so we were worried but accepting that our post partum days would have a much simpler menu. Not with Feng Ayi, she truly brings the best of the northern Chinese cuisine (and anything else you ask!). I felt like eating at a restaurant every day. Above all, she was crucial in helping me with lactation journey. She tirelessly provided massages, warm and cold compress, and many words of wisdom and stories that made lactation process much more enjoyable. She gave us the confidence to feed my baby and help him grow strong and fast. She really grew into a family to us at the end. We miss her endless energy and cheerful spirits. Whoever gets her next is lucky!

Wendy has been an absolute gift to our family, and I truly cannot recommend her highly enough. She took exceptional care of my son from day one. She is incredibly experienced and intuitive, and she would thoughtfully offer suggestions whenever something in his care needed to be adjusted or tweaked. I trusted her completely and always felt that my baby was in the best possible hands. In all the time she was with us, I never once felt the need to step in or correct anything — that level of comfort and confidence is priceless as a parent. What made Wendy even more special was the way she cared for our entire family, not just the baby. She cooked us delicious meals, jumped in to help with things without ever needing to be asked, and spent time playing with and caring for my older son as well. She brought such a warm, calming, positive energy into our home every single day and always had a smile on her face. She was constantly singing to and playing with my baby, and it was obvious how genuinely loving and engaged she was with him. Despite not speaking the same language fluently, we never had any issues communicating — Google Translate worked perfectly, and her kindness, attentiveness, and warmth transcended any language barrier. Wendy has truly become part of our family, and we will miss her dearly when she leaves. I would hire her again in a heartbeat if we have another baby, and any family would be incredibly lucky to have her.

Feng Ayi helped our family transition peacefully from one to two children in our small home Brooklyn. She took care of our newborn with great care and extraordinary patience all the while cooking for our family and bringing me snacks. She ensured my husband and I had ample rest and was flexible in letting us take on as much or as little we wanted to with the baby so we had capacity for our 5 year old. She was always calm, confident, and positive with a great sense of humor. These attributes are incredibly important especially because we had a very demanding baby (one of her most challenging babies ever). Our baby had silent reflux symptoms and trouble sleeping more than 15 minutes on her own. Feng Ayi nonetheless performed all duties thoroughly and timely and with a great attitude. She was always sweet and tender towards the baby - chatting with her and giving her massages. There was no oversight needed as Feng Ayi was excellent in her time management and organizational skills. Her cooking is exceptional and she stocked our freezer with some of our favorite things she made. Her dishes are flavorful, healthy, technically refined, yet homey and comforting. My Mandarin is conversational level and my husband only speaks Cantonese, but we did not have any issues with communication. We highly recommend Feng Ayi - even for experienced parents and especially for those who are first timers!

刚出院回家那天我们都很乱，只有冯阿姨非常稳。做事有条不紊。她到家里，就很快上手照顾宝宝，给我们做饭什么的。吩咐我好好休息，让我情绪稳定和感受到做月子快乐。 我本人平时就喜欢到处吃吃喝喝，对吃的还是很挑的，真的很幸运遇到冯阿姨，在孕期能吃到好吃的，心情也格外的好 （阿姨做的面食和菜都很好吃）。 很感谢冯阿姨，把我和宝宝照顾的很好，马上要出月子了，真心有点不舍得（有种妈妈和亲人的感觉）。把冯阿姨推荐给大家，希望你也像我一样幸运可以遇到这么好的冯阿姨。
