There are not enough words to describe how amazing Maria was to bring our little boy into the world. We met with her early on to discuss our birth plan (natural birth). She was able to answer any questions and provided us with useful information on getting my body ready for labor and with things to do during labor. She was always available if we need her during pregancy and always checked in with us. Once cont4actions started at 2am she answer the phone and talked us through counting and what the plan would be to get to the hospital. Once at the hospital she walked us through different movements and positions to make contractions easier. She guided my husband on how to support me and be involved. She also came with a diffuser, and affirmations to hang around the room. She helped us us the ball, a step stool, massages and such foe the entire labor 34 hours. Unfortunately my birth plan went out the window when I was not progressing I need pitocin and ended up with an epidural. She was there every step of the way guiding us.in the end I needed a c-section and she was there to wait with my husband in recovery (I needed to be put under) she stayed with us for 2 hour after birth to make sure we and baby wer3 ok. She also followed up and came to check in on us once we were home. My husband and I would not have been as calm as we were with out maria. She became family and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dula no matter what your birth plan!

Maria was very patient, gentle and assisted me within my boundaries which I loved. I was able to express what I needed comfortably. My experience was one of a kind and I would definetly recomend her services.
