If a client reaches 38 weeks gestation and still has a remaining unpaid balance on their account, their birth will NOT be booked on my calendar. You can go to Birthing Beautiful Communities (BBC) for free services. Remember, due to their policies and restrictions, they only cover doula services for at-hospital deliveries unless you work with a certified nurse-midwife (CNM).

I was matched with Doula Dyese during an emergency with my pregnancy. Though we met on sad terms I am happy to have met her. She came into my life when I needed support the most. Dyese is compassionate and an amazing listener. She is great at prioritizing and I never once felt pushed aside. She is patient and sat with me as long as I needed. Listened when I needed an ear and spoke when I needed that as well. She helped connect me with resources that are helpful in my grieving process. And she was there providing hope before my loss. I truly wouldn’t have made it though the unexpected end of my pregnancy Without her. The definition of above and beyond. Did more than I would ever have expected. I would highly recommend her your birth and would gladly work with her in future pregnancies should I be in the area still.

Hire Dyese because this woman is a Godsend!
Dyese is organized, punctual, reliable, helpful, resourceful, caring, compassionate, empowering, enlightening, experienced, friendly, generous, giving, graceful, heartwarming, loving, pleasant, and sincere!
As a first time mom I did not know what to expect as I prepared to bring my baby boy into this world. Specifically, my desire to have a natural birth in a hospital setting. Dyese as my doula informed/educated me on what to expect and how to best prepare for the journey ahead!
It was so comforting to share this journey with Dyese because she made my needs and concerns a priority and was genuinely there for me! I cannot express how gratifying it is to work with Dyese, a woman who is selfless as well as consistently calm, warm, helpful, and always providing useful information and knowledge!
Additionally, Dyese is a doula with especially keen perception! As labor progressed and the contractions picked up, Dyese watched my body language and recommended the most helpful suggestions and strategies to relieve the pain! I was in labor for 38 hours in the middle of a snow storm and Dyese showed up for me and never left my side! So thankful for Dyese having my back, speaking up for me, clarifying, recommending, teaching/informing, comforting me, and most importantly reminding me of what I wanted and why I wanted to have a natural childbirth when I began to feel weak!
Dyese’s postpartum support is phenomenal! My heart is full from the meals/snacks Dyese prepared as my family adjusted to life with a newborn to the supplies we needed to make sure our baby boy was taken care of!
Dyese is the best doula ever! A friendship I will forever cherish! My family and I love you and appreciate you! We are forever grateful/overjoyed for how everything turned out with labor & delivery! We will not hesitate to hire you again as we continue to grow our family! God bless you!

My experience working with Dyese as my doula, was a great experience. Dyese is very sweet and helpful. She checked on me often before I went into labor. During labor She made sure I was comfortable. If I didn't understand something she made sure she asked questions so the nurses could better explain. I definitely would recommend her services to other soon to be mother's. ♥?????

If your looking for someone to never give up on you and support you and your decisions make you feel important even when you don't feel confident she makes you feel worthy of the choices you decide to make no one can take your faith or make you say or do anything you don't want and that's where DYESE , comes in and enforce what feel so you don't gotta speak in the delivery room if you don't want too if your needing someone to vent to and give you all the support there is and keep your head held high and your feet grounded because that inner peace you will find it cause you don't know what a real friend is till you experienced Dyese by your side I'm really saying this to say I experienced all This and it hasn't even been a year yet I didn't even ask and she just had been blessing me and my daughter left to right she has a big heart she is a selfless soul that you need in your life and household she makes you feel cared for and understood she enjoys her career and doesn't do it just for the money she wants to learn and help millions of mothers and mothers to be she is the doula that you need to make your pregnancy much easier she is punctual and reliable so don't even think twice just do it like Nike and book with her ask about her she serves you with respect and open arms and ears I feel everyone needs Dyese , she serves purpose and unity she always looking for ways to make things better for you and comfort you I was in the hospital for 4 days and she never left my side she slept there ate hospital food with me and made sure I had a ride home with my baby she helps me shop and Comes to my house and helps out my baby so I can have so me time trust me you will need all the help you can get so book with Dyese she does what she do effortlessly overall I am fully satisfied with the services she has provided

In a hospital setting, doctors can be to AA women what the police are to our AA men. Which is why I chose to deliver at home. Grace be to God, I was able to find Dyese and hire her as my doula. I was her very first home delivery, but there was still no doubt in my mind that she was the one for me. Being able to have a familiar face supporting me was so comforting, and thus a no brainer.
Delivering a baby as an AA woman takes a level of militant advocacy, strength, confidence & power. Having Dyese by my side through the entire process was empowering to say the least. For she also embodies such characteristics.
As an Army Veteran, post baby I knew I embodied those traits easily, but birthing naturally at home had me a bit shaken at the core. Dyese made sure that she reminded me of my power and my abilities every visit I had with her, and most importantly, during birth.
She also was a God send as far as making sure all my questions were answered, making sure I was knowledgeable about every possible outcome, and helping me manage my pain before & during delivery. I don't know what I would've done without her. She even checked on us after the birth. I cannot WAIT to hire her back whenever I have my next child!
Hire Doula Dede & lets bring birth or even just the mentality of it, back home! And for those of you who chose to birth in a hospital...it's time to take your power back! Doula Dede will make sure you are heard & that your birth wishes are granted no matter what! You will NOT be disappointed!
