Renee was the BEST decision my husband and I made in regards to our birthing experience! I knew I wanted to work with a doula and after speaking with a couple of them, I knew Renee was the right choice for us. Her humanity, cheerfulness, honesty, care, and understanding were apparent from our first zoom call and remained throughout our time together. I always looked forward to our prenatal meetings - she walked us through what would have been an overwhelming amount of information with patience and ease, and I appreciated the exercises she had us do for our minds, bodies, and spirits. When it looked like I was going to have to be induced, Renee was there with us every step of the way. She is excellent at reading the room, making you feel like you're the most important person in that moment, and while she prepared us to be able to advocate for ourselves, she always asked questions we may not have thought of and made sure we always had all the information possible. And while my labor and delivery were nothing like we could've predicted, Renee always made sure that I felt that I was making informed decisions, she never pushed me in any direction other than what felt right to me, and I was able to feel like I didn't lose complete control of my experience. I could go on and on! She's the best and she has inspired me to pursue birthwork in the future. Please add her to your team, you will be happy that you did!

Renee was an excellent doula. From our first appointment to our last she was dedicated and spent a lot of time answering my questions and was very thoughtful throughout the process. She listened to my insights on my birth plan and added so many extra touches that really made my birth special. I'm so thankful she was there with me throughout the process as I am a single mother. Her guidance and professionalism was extremely helpful during labor. I would highly recommend her, and would use her again if I have another baby.

Having Renae as our postpartum doula was one of the greatest gifts during a really tender and vulnerable time. She didn’t just support me through postpartum anxiety and depression — she truly saw and understood me, held space without judgment, and brought this calm, grounded energy that made me feel safe, capable, and less alone.
But Renae didn’t stop there — she showed up for our whole family. My older kids adored her. They would light up when she arrived, and honestly, we all did. Her visits became this joyful, nourishing reset for everyone. She helped smooth the transition from a family of four to a family of five with so much grace, warmth, and practical wisdom. Whether it was helping with the baby, talking me through a hard moment, or just playing with the big kids so I could breathe — she intuitively knew what was needed, every time.
I can't overstate how grateful we are for Renae. She felt like family from the start, and we still talk about her with so much love. If you’re lucky enough to have the chance to work with her, don’t think twice. She is a rare gem, and we are forever thankful.

What initially made us choose Renee was her shared tips and tricks of how to help us calmly make decisions during the unknowns of childbirth in the hospital. Renee was an incredible support throughout our entire journey into parenthood. From the early pregnancy visits where she helped us learn and shape our expectations, to the delivery day where she stepped in with calm, steady presence that allowed both of us parents to stay present, Renee was amazing. Her postpartum care was just as invaluable; she talked through the birth experience with us and helped us navigate the chaos of newborn life. Her positive, "can do" energy made us feel comfortable and empowered to unabashedly ask for additional help as necessary. We felt seen and supported every step of the way. We highly recommend Renee to anyone looking for a knowledgeable ally on their birth journey.

I had an amazing experience with Renee as my doula. She took the time to listen to my concerns and fears, offering both holistic and medical solutions that made me feel fully supported in my birth plan. Before delivery, she visited my home several times to teach pain-relief techniques and relaxation strategies that were incredibly helpful during labor.
When my water broke early and complications arose, the hospital suggested a C-section. Instead, Renee spent the entire day working with me on exercises to reposition the baby and techniques to help me relax. Although I eventually needed an induction, she helped me choose the least invasive methods and was supportive of my decision to have pain relief when needed.
What I appreciated most about Renee was how she balanced my desire for a natural birth with the flexibility to adapt to medical needs. As a private person, I was initially anxious about having a doula, but in hindsight, I couldn’t have done it without her. She was also incredibly helpful to my husband, giving him the chance to take care of things at home when labor stalled, all while supporting me in every way.
I highly recommend Renee for her professionalism, compassion, and support throughout the entire birth process. She made a huge difference in our experience!

We found Renee through Providence St. Joseph in Burbank and could have been happier with our experience.
She was responsive, affordable, and sensitive. She perfectly catered to our needs, was insightful when we had questions, and helped us put together a birth plan that was just right for us.
In the delivery room, she was assertive in the best way. I was never stuck in one position or had too much time to overthink things. She was an amazing advocate and helped me to have a 100% natural birth at the hospital. I would recommend Renee to anyone preparing to give birth!

My husband and I knew we wanted to hire a doula for our first child. There is so much information on the internet and from family and friends and we wanted a guide to connect with who could share evidence based solutions and techniques to give us the best outcome for our birth plan. We couldn't have found a better match with Renee! She not only provided amazing tools and guidance, she helped us connect with ourselves and each other which made the experience so much more meaningful. She helped ease our anxieties and feel empowered to make decisions during labor I wouldn't have been able to without her guidance and expertise. She was available to us as much as we needed and a constance source of calm and loving energy. We also had a lot of fun! Renee is an incredible asset and I couldn't imagine my birth experience without her.

Renee was incredibly helpful throughout my preparation for childbirth, providing valuable education about the process and my various options. Together, we developed a birth plan that made me feel comfortable and confident. Even when things deviated from our plan during the birth, Renee remained supportive and optimistic, guiding me through the experience. After the delivery, she continued to assist my family, offering support for an entire week postpartum as I adjusted to our new routine, even helping with my older child.

We had such an amazing experience with Renee as our doula! She was always there for us, from the prenatal appointments, to the birth and delivery, to the postpartum follow up. Her visits were punctual, and she responded very quickly to any questions we sent through text and email.
Renee has extensive knowledge of her craft, backed with medical research and sources that she also shared with us. We felt comfortable trusting her advice and guidance, which was provided but never forced. She always supported our preferences, and especially during the birth, she was flexible and highly attentive to our needs and wants. This made the birthing experience much more comfortable!
Renee generally has a very bubbly and warm personality, but during the birth she became a soothing presence who understood when there was a need for peace and quiet. Her postpartum visit wrapped up the whole experience so nicely - we all felt so well attended to. I absolutely recommend Renee as a birth doula :)

Renee was wonderful to work with and really listens. Renee respects the needs and wishes of her clients and makes you feel well informed and safe! I highly reccomend her! I had my baby June 2 and had a lot of mental/hormonal issues during pregnancy that Renee helped talk me thru. I am so grateful!

Renee was the support we needed for our first birth! She always had an upbeat friendly demeanor! She catered to our learning style to help us understand pros and cons of important birth decisions. She helped me with pain management techniques and gave my husband ways he could help me with birth support/ pain managment, as well. Having her at our birth made us feel confident that we were doing everything right. She even helped us get our babies head un-stuck so we could continue the natural birth that we wanted. Throughout my birth I felt in control, heard and taken care of. We met up after and discussed the entire birth. It was a nice time to reflect. She checked on our well being and gave us resources to make sure our postpartum time went smoothly. We were very fortunate to have Renee as our doula!
