Chantel, was an amazing doula. She went above and beyond to create a culturally safe space, and is humble, kind and caring throughout her practice.
We had a very challenging induction and pregnancy which had us in the hospital for a week and she checked in everyday.
She helped keep me comfortable with water, walking, food and reminding me to rest. She navigates very well around RIH. My partner also felt very comfortable and was thankful for her presence and emotional support.
We consider Chantel a dear friend and so thankful she was apart of our birth story.

What a beautiful experience it was to have Chantel as my doula. She’s very supportive and informal in any moment that I needed her. If I ever needed support she was virtually there in a heartbeat! I appreciated the time and effort she put forth for my family and I.
My due date was during the first wave of the Covid-19 Pandemic. I decided that it was best to have only a couple close family members at my home birth, including the midwives. With the distance between us, Chantel was there for me virtually. She opened up her arms and made sure I was taken care with her caring and loving ways! She made sure I didn’t feel alone in the best way she could. She exceeded my expectations. She knows about traditional birthing and birthing rights as a woman. She is all around a one of a kind doula and someone needed in the delivery room.
If I ever have a baby again, she’ll be my first choice!

I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is incredibly supportive -- she literally held me up through childbirth, when standing was the only position that felt right! She also brought ingredients to make an energy-boosting elixir that got me through. She shows a gentle and intuitive confidence, working behind the scenes but available when you need her. It was so special having her involved in my birth.

She was very professional supportive kind-hearted went above and beyond to support me through my pregnancy when I gave birth, she reassured me when I felt scared, she brought me stuff that would help my baby while I was pregnant and after I gave birth she kept checking in on me and my baby. She used to bring snacks helps me through labor I highly recommend her as a doula she is amazing and is very loving supportive doula.
