I taylor my packages to meet the needs of the expectant families. My packages I offer support for prenatal, birth, postpartum & sibbling care. 1 free meet & greet, 1-2 prenatal appointments. I will stay with client at birth approximately 2 hours postpartum. If there is a need I may stay longer if requested. I provide unlimited text and emails during the time of the contract. I am a Certified Birth Pro with Body Ready Method and use techniques to aide in babies navagating through the pelivis. I use HTSM techniques with clients. It's a form of energy work to help them be relaxed, centered & aide in pain relief. Can include a BRM or HTSM session during pregancy, birth or postpartum. Certified in Aromatherapy for Pregnancy, Birth & Postpartum available upon request . Trained Water Areobics instructor if you want to get in the pool. I offer 1 time consulation to help plan or advise about pregancy, birth or postpartum time.

I was extremely anxious about giving birth so I decided I needed a doula on my team! I was so happy when I reached out and met Kathy. She's kind, knowledgeable, approachable, and available. She was an absolute asset when birth time came and brought the exact type of comfort abs support I needed. I'm so glad I reached out and had Kathy on my birthing team.

Kathy has been a wonderful support before, during, and after the premature delivery of my son by c-section. Meeting with her in advance of the birth helped alleviate some of my birth-related anxiety as a first time mom. Her knowledge, experience and wonderfully caring personality made her an excellent fit for me. She's also helped me during the first few postpartum months as I get settled in at home with my son as a single mom. Having her support has meant extra hours of sleep so I can be a better mom to him. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and caring birth support person.

Kathy was fantastic! She is so kind and knowledgeable. During my prenatal visits she worked with both my husband and I, showing us specific stretches and positions from Spinning Babies that are meant to help baby move into an ideal position for birth. She was a wealth of knowledge and also a wonderful emotional support. She made herself available for phone calls when I was feeling anxious and she eased concerns I had about VBAC in a hospital setting. When i didn't feel supported by my obgyn she ultimately helped me decide on having a home birth instead, by talking through some of my fears and sharing resources and even asking around about local midwives to find a potential match for me.
When my waste broke and my labor didn't pick up, I risked out of the care of my midwife and had to transfer to the hospital. Kathy came with us and was a great advocate for me. She was also so gentle and supportive when I struggled with my medical ptsd and all the emotions from ending up in the very last place I wanted to be. She worked well with the nurses and was very attentive to my needs and also my husband's. My husband, who hadn't really understood the role of a Doula, has expressed how grateful he was to have her there.

Kathy Kinard was our choice for postpartum doula services when our newborn grandson joined our multigenerational family from the NICU. Supporting babies and their families is a passion that she approaches with calm energy, vast knowledge and experience, warmth, and compassion. Kathy is professional, organized, and an excellent communicator. She has met our changing needs every step of the way and we can't recommend her highly enough!

We could not be more happy with our decision to hire Kathy. From our first meeting, she exuded a calming and supportive presence that proved crucial to my success in having a VBAC delivery. Kathy went above and beyond in her support to us throughout my pregnancy, labor, and delivery.
During our prenatal preparations, Kathy provided healing touch, resources for baby positioning and what to expect during birth, emotional support during a stressful pregnancy scare, and frequent check-ins to make sure we felt prepared. I was especially grateful for Kathy’s efforts in checking in with how my husband was feeling about the upcoming birth process.
Kathy was super helpful during my unavoidable induction to help us feel that we were making the best decisions for a healthy baby and mama, all while trying to stick to our birth plan as much as possible given the circumstances. Kathy proved crucial to the mental and emotional stability of both me and my husband during this time when things were not going very smoothly. She also provided some much needed relief during my labor to allow my husband to take breaks to get some rest so that he could be ready to help when I truly needed him.
When I made it to active labor and the pushing phase, I was so grateful for Kathy’s support. While the nurses were great, they had other duties, and while my husband was willing to do anything I needed, both he and I had never witnessed a vaginal birth so our knowledge of the process was entirely theoretical at that point. Kathy was the perfect puzzle piece where she had both the knowledge about birthing and was there solely to support us. I truly do not know whether I would have been able to be successful with a VBAC without Kathy’s invaluable efforts and support.
We cannot thank Kathy enough for helping us through this life-changing experience. We will be forever grateful to her and would highly recommend her for all your doula needs.

Kathy went above and beyond for my pregnancy and birth experience, she attended classes at the hospital with me, came to my home, texted me weekly to check on me and I knew if I ever had a question (I had a ton, first time mom!) she was there.
She showed ways to make birth easier and was there for me, held my legs back when I was to weak while pushing.
It’s not just someone there to help, it’s that she’s there for you, gets to know you well enough that she just knew when to help without me needing to ask.
Kathy was a huge blessing to me and my family. Would highly recommend having her in particular as your doula!
My baby ended up in nicu, and I just didn’t know what to think or how to feel, Kathy helped me with that too, she had been though this with her own children and made me feel more at ease with the nicu staff. All around wonderful experience and I’m so glad we chose Kathy
