If you're looking for a doula who will be your advocate, supporter, and friend throughout pregnancy, labor, and delivery, Jamila is your gal! I am so grateful for her presence during a challenging, intense experience. Jamila's no wallflower! She is not all back rubs and meditation; instead, she supports you in taking charge of your experience and encourages tapping into your body's own strength. She is knowledgeable and helpful - before, during, and after baby's arrival - and I can't recommend her enough! If you're looking for someone to support and advocate for the whole family's experience, she would be an excellent fit for you as your doula. Thank you, Gee!!

It was so awesome and a different experience altogether ?? my doula made me feel comfortable and included me in all things. She never made feel like not one question wasn't irrelevant. I had a great time and she definitely made sure I was knowledgeable about everything. She is a awesome person and I wouldn't have enjoyed everything if it weren't for her. If I had it to do all over again, I would definitely choose her every time ??

Jamila Udofiah was a pleasure and a blessing to have as a doula. From the first meeting she was warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable about many things I hadn't learned so far. Being that it was my first pregnancy, first experience having a doula, I was toward the end of my pregnancy when I was assigned a doula, and on top of that it would only be virtual meetings, I was nervous, but I quickly became very comfortable and excited to work with Jamila. We created our birth plan with her and she even typed everything out for us to give to our doctor. She really made me l feel like a friend or family member was helping me and I feel like my birthing experience was significantly better because I knew more about what to expect and she helped me prepare my mindset and body. One day after doing guided stretching with her, my baby lowered into position and I began having contractions, so I was able to avoid being induced. I was able to have my natural birth without epidural and it went better and quicker than it would've gone without her guidance. She reminded me to breathe through contractions, that I could do it and that my body was made for birth, which really encouraged me when I was ready to give up. Even after labor she checked in on me, gave me advice, and helped me with anything going on with baby and I. I will always appreciate having her apart of my pregnancy and postpartum journey.

This woman is incredible. I'm so happy I was paired with her. I used Jamila for postpartum services, she was incredibly helpful with everything from breast feeding to general support adjusting to life with a new baby. She is great at what she does and makes it easy to open up to her. She is a genuinely wonderful human being. Thank you for everything!

Jamila is the absolute best. She makes every effort to be there and get you what you need. If she doesn't have the answer to your question, she will go find it. She helped lessen my anxiety about giving birth by making sure I was informed about the entire process, and she gave me the tools to be able to advocate for myself. She encouraged and motivated me by reminding me that my body was made for this. She will wear whatever hat she needs to be able to be there for you. She really helped make this experience positive for me. If you are having a hard time selecting your doula, you can't stop worrying and pick Jamila.

I had the absolute best experience with Jamila. Even from another state, her care, experience, advice, knowledge and support were second to none. I never knew what a doula was until this year. When we met she took the time to explain what and how doulas offer support to expecting moms. One thing I like for sure is that she's passionate about what she does. She walked us through every step, provided reference videos, and coached us through specific moments. I'd highly recommend Jamila as your Doula. She's simply amazing.

I am so glad to have had the experience of having Jamilla as my doula during my pregnancy and delivery. She helped tremendously with nutrition and exercises to prepare for birth, and made sure my birth plan was carried out. She gave me lots of tips and helpful apps for staying calm during what was the most exciting and scariest events in my life. She was also super patient with me because my induction was 5 days long. The whole time she was there with a variety of drinks to replenish electrolytes and snacks to keep me with energy and making sure I was drinking enough water. Even stayed the night to talk with me and help clear my mind because I was frightened constantly of delivering. In the end my baby was too large and would not descend enough for me to dilate so I had a c-section and she was such a godsend thru the whole process. Gave me lots of help with breastfeeding and even brought me one of my first meals when I got home. All in all this was a very pleasant experience and I can't thank her enough for helping me with the most important task I ever did bringing the best part of my life into this world my son.

We had a great experience with Jamila. She truly loves her job and cares about the mamas. Due to complications we had to have a C-section and weren't able to have the natural birth we initially hoped for. Jamila was always available and supported us throughout and after the pregnancy with knowledge and kindness.

I am so thankful that Jamila stepped in and guided me on this journey in such a short time. My due date was February 2 and at the time I didn't have a doula because from my understanding my insurance didn't cover it. The night of January 28, after her finding out that I was expecting, she reached out to me immediately to ensure that I would have a doula by my side. She informed me of the program that she works through and how they help with assisting women with finding doulas. It was at night and I'm sure Jamila had worked a full day but she still reached out and sent over the information that I needed to get started and she set up a time that we could talk the next day. Our conversation was very informative and filled with questions and answers I needed to hear to feel secure. I didn’t feel overwhelmed,rush or unheard which was key. I was closer to my due date than she thought and she already had a prior engagement so she made sure that I got registered with the program and also found a back up doula who was just as awesome and giving as she is. After my first visit with the doula that she referred, she still called to make sure I was comfortable. I couldn’t ask for a better person at a better time. In matter of three days, I went from not having a doula to having a doula that came with everything I didn’t know I needed. Thank you so much Jamila for your help, you really made me understand just how much doulas are necessary??

Jamila was so knowledgeable and helpful with my pregnancy. This was my first pregnancy and I didn't know what to expect. I when I had questions she was always there to help me and lead me in the right direction. I felt ease with the services that I received from her. I would recommend any woman who us looking for a caring and knowledgeable doula to please contact her. I appreciate everything that she did for me. Thank you for all your help. You rock!!!

My experience with Mrs. Jamila was a great experience. She definitely knows how to make you comfortable during the time of your pregnancy. And she's also quick with responding back to call/texts and be by your side whenever you call her. I'll highly recommend anyone to work with her.

Jamila was a true joy to be around during my pregnancy and definitely held me accountable! She was my number one cheerleader (alongside my husband). Every question I had, she was able to answer clearly and effectively or point me in the right direction. I am truly grateful to have had her as my doula and I can't wait to have her here again for my next baby!

One of the best decisions I made was hiring a Doula. Jamila assisted with my birth. From our first meeting, we felt at complete ease and confident we would have the support we needed to achieve our birth goals. Jamila, was an exceptional Doula! She was extremely patient, knowledgeable, down to earth and last but not least, she LISTENED to me and my fears of becoming a new mom (ie the right car seat, will I produce enough milk, etc.). After reading book after book and talking with women in a breastfeeding support group, I thought I was prepared. That is, until I gave birth and all the research went out the window when my child wouldn't stop crying as we were waiting to be transferred to our room in the hospital. I was met with a calm voice and was shown various ways to nurse my child. Jamila, even came to our home and assisted me in the nursery when my child was latching on too hard and my nipples started to crack and bleed from improper latching. We got it down, to the point my child chose nursing over the bottle. Jamila, is a godsend and I'll tell everyone I know about her and her wonderful services! I'm glad I chose Jamila as my doula!

I had a really good experience with Jamila. This was my first time hiring a doula. She was very professional and she listened to all of my concerns. If I have another child I will be hiring Jamila Udofiah again.

Jamila is an awesome Doula! I believe our first encounter was devine! My husband are so grateful to this beautiful soul! She was everything I needed before, during, and after labor. I didn't want her to even go home afterwards lol. You'll love her!
