I am a new immigrant who just landed in Canada and a new mother. I am unfamiliar with and worried about the process of giving birth in Canada. Just in time,my husband has some work to come over a week before the due date. I'm very glad to choose Nichole as my doula. Before childbrith,Nichole gave me a lot of help,telling me what preparation work and emergency response measures to do,and practicing breathing and doing some necessary physical exercises at home.
The childbirth started for more than 38 weeks. I was very nervous. Nicole prepared a small instrument to relieve the pain,and gave me some physical massage and psychological guidance in the whole process. With Nicole's help,I was not so nervous,nor painless,and I gave birth to a healthy baby boy. After giving birth,Nichole often called to care about the baby's health and breastfeeding,which gives us a lot of counseling.
I'm glad I asked Nichole to be my doula. She is patient and responsible for the whole process. What's more,Nichole is very professional,which makes my production reduce a lot of unnecessary troubles and physical injuries. I'm very grateful to Nicole. It's a lucky and correct decision to invite Nichole.

Hiiii my name is Denise. I recently gave birth to my handsome baby boy at the Richmond hospital. It could not have been a better experience without Nicole she is amazing. She was there whenever I needed advice. When I was going into labour she arrived at the hospital within 10minutes of me getting there. Nicole is very knowledgeable of useful techniques to apply during labour which also help this journey to be more pleasant. Nicole is also very patient and kind hearted. Her calm demeanour also assisted to keep me calm through the most terrible contractions.
She stayed about two hours after the baby born to ensure that we were both settled and she also visited us at home.
However, I say that to say I would recommend Nicole any day as a doula. You won't regret it!
