Kathleen was irreplaceable and pivotal in the success of my pregnancy and birth itself. We hired her late in the first trimester, and right away she set up Zoom meetings with me to go over an array of information that helped me feel empowered, educated, and informed. She checked in on me routinely about my doctor visits, where my headspace was at, and reminded me to be eating nourishing foods and drinking plenty of water. Not only is she a wealth of knowledge, but she also genuinely cares about her clients and is so passionate about helping families welcome new life into the world! Kathleen is truly such a well-rounded Doula, and I can’t imagine this first pregnancy without her! During my hospital stay, she would call, check in, and come visit for a while, yet it never felt like she was taking up space between my family members and me. She was so crucial to my final laboring hours, keeping me on track, and also bringing a sense of calm to my husband and mom, who were also there with us. Since my daughter was born, she did about a month follow-up and just touched base on my emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, providing gentle tips and suggestions to continue to carry me into and through motherhood. An added bonus was her expertise in South Asian culture as I am also married to an Indian man. Her authentic awareness to the traditions, customs, and holistic remedies were perfectly blended into her care of me! I cannot recommend her services enough! I feel privileged to know her and to have had her in such a sacred time and space in my life!
