Cynthia was absolutely remarkable and I am eternally grateful that she was part of this experience.Her knowledge as a massage therapist was invaluable, and the single most-effective pain relief during labor. Overall, she made the entire experience more fun, peaceful and positive in every way. She was the perfect balance of encouragement, guidance, and calm presence.
I also really appreciated how she made sure my husband felt included and supported, which made our special day extra special. I’m beyond grateful for everything she did, and I truly believe that having her by our side made all the difference in having such a positive birth experience.
If you’re considering hiring a doula, I would wholeheartedly recommend Cynthia. She is an absolute gem and a true professional!

Cynthia was our doula for our first birth! We are so happy we hired her to support us during our delivery. We were hesitant initially if budgeting for a doula was worth it or in the cards for us. With the cost of everything surrounding a new little one, it was not an easy decision leading up to the big day. However, it ended up being one of our greatest investments! Cynthia met with us twice before the delivery and had a series of questions that helped my husband and I to dive deep into our birthing desires, fears and hopes as well as our wishes for one another for the delivery. Cynthia was quick to respond and flexible when our big day arrived. She was willing to meet us during our evening induction, but we held off until the morning when true labor began. She showed up promptly and stayed for the entire duration of labor! Due to her continued support, my husband was able to step out for meals throughout the labor which he later shared he would not have been comfortable doing otherwise. Her insight, tools and tricks were invaluable throughout my labor and were an excellent guidance through my painful waves which brought about a sense of calm and security for me. I was able to achieve my forever dream of an unmedicated delivery thanks to her and my team! When we encountered brief complications post delivery, she was by both of our sides offering reassurance and comfort. Furthermore, she met with us twice after the delivery, answered numerous questions I had and was flexible to our (hectic no-sleep) postpartum schedule. My husband shared afterwards that our decision to hire her was well beyond worth what we paid. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula!

Our experience with Cynthia was fantastic. I truly don’t know if I would have gone through with my natural water birth without her and my husband’s support. They made a great team, especially having only just met while I was in active labor!
We kept in touch throughout the night and day leading up to active labor, and after a few very trying and strong surges at the hospital, my husband called Cynthia to join us. I was tired, my eyes were hardly ever open due to that and focusing on getting through surges, and I was completely out of my body during a strong surge… my husband was talking me through it, and right at the height of the surge I felt the most soothing, gentle hand caress my arm and I knew my doula had arrived! I instantly felt safer, calmer, and stronger with her just being in the room. Her presence was something that I have trouble finding the right words for. I can only describe the feeling of her bringing a warm, positive, gentle glow to the room once she arrived. Her background in massage therapy really proved itself useful too. She was able to help my husband find the exact right pressure points on my hips and back to help me get through each surge, and used her own soothing voice and touch to keep me calm and reassured that I could do it. I honestly feel like I was brought back into my body and saw little twinkly stars every time I felt her touch or heard her affirming words throughout the night. She was well versed in my birth plan beforehand and wholly respectful and aware of mine and my partners space and ques the entire time. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect doula experience. I highly, highly recommend Cynthia!

If you are considering a Dula, hire Cynthia!!!
I cannot imagine my birth without Cynthia’s compassionate, caring support.
Whether you are wanting to go natural or c-section, Cynthia has done and seen it all!!!
She was there for me through the worst of my 4 day induction and she truly was a lifesaver. She brought grace and calm to both my husband and I, and gave us an opportunity to enjoy the whole birthing process, even when it got hard. She's also a licensed massage therapist, and her loving touch during the hard times made all the difference. She even painted my toenails in the hospital!!!
Especially being a first time mom, Cynthia gave me so much knowledge and insight every step of the way!
If you are considering a Doula, look no further! Having Cynthia by my side was the single best decision I made and I will absolutely hire her to support me through any future births I have!!

Cynthia was amazing to work with! She was such a comfort to me while I was laboring. It was my goal to have a natural, physiological birth and she helped prepare me for that and gave me the support and confidence to remain steadfast in the midst of intense labor. I am so thankful I had her in that room with me. And I appreciated her guidance and resource even as I prepared for labor. Cynthia is a wealth of knowledge, and her quiet strength and gentle demeanor helped to calm my angst leading up to labor and brought peace during the whole labor and birth experience.
