I had an amazing experience with Mikala as my Doula! I heard about Mikala through a mutual friend, so I did not know her before being pregnant and interviewing her to be my Doula. When we first met, her presence brought so much calm with it, I knew she would be perfect to help me bring my baby boy into the world! Mikala is a kind soul, she is extremely smart, and she knows what she is doing! She taught me so much about birth and how to make it a fantastic experience! I did have my baby at a hospital, but Mikala was with me the entire time to walk me through birth and help keep me comfortable and cared for! Mikala knows so much about how to train the body for birth, how to give your body the best while pregnant and laboring, and even post partum and lactation support! I recommend her to all of my friends. She is a great human and I am lucky to know her and cannot thank her enough for being there for me during the birth of my son!
