Working with Kiyoe was an absolutely wonderful experience. She is incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, and responsive. She gave us many helpful recommendations (such as our pediatrician, who we also love!) before the birth and helped check that we had a proper nursery and essentials set up for the baby's arrival and answered all my questions. We had a few early false alarms for labor and she helped us navigate each one. During my actual labor, she effectively helped me manage my pain without the epidural. When I decided to get the epidural and pitocin due to pain levels and labor not progressing quickly enough, she made me feel confident about the decision (in consultation with our medical team of course) and continued to support me by keeping time and helping me change positions, providing massage to relax me, and keep labor moving. After 2 false alarms and 14 hours of real labor, we had a beautiful baby girl thanks to Kiyoe's help. I would highly recommend working with her.

Kiyoe is an amazing doula! She has such a kind heart and warmth that is exactly what I needed during my pregnancy, delivery and postpartum experience. Because the hospital had a 1-visitor limit during the COVID crisis, Kiyoe supported my partner and me virtually and was available at all hours of the day - my water broke at 3:45 am 3 weeks early and she was available to support us by phone and video from the early morning through the evening when I ALONE (again, hospital policy...) in the hospital with my baby and the next day before I was discharged.
I had a very positive birth experience during a potentially scary time for childbirth thanks to Kiyoe's coaching, resources and preparation beforehand. I highly recommend her!
