费用说明
My fees include 2 prenatal visits (in person or virtual) to discuss a birth plan and go over comfort measures to use in labor. It is nice to practice of show some of the comfort measures before you need them. I'm available on call for 2 weeks prior to due date and will come to your labor as soon as you request me. The fee also includes one postnatal visit a week after delivery. I throughly enjoy my work as a doula. Every birth and every mother is unique and and will be treated as such. I offer compassion and empowerment to both you and your partner during the delivery. I would love to be your "Mama Doula". Please contact me and I'd be happy to discuss further. Thanks!

I was blessed to have Rhonda with us as our doula for our second baby's birth. Rhonda is so kind and has a calm, confident, sweet demeanor that allows her to see the positive in every situation and help shift the focus of birthing toward peace and gratitude. She is a fantastic listener and translates this extremely well to meeting the needs of the birthing mother. She also provided great practical info and help for my husband as we decided each step in what the birthing process looked like..I call this birth experience healing; it went better than I had imagined as a perfect birth, and this is in huge part due to knowing my "team" included such an excellent doula. As a note, she was so willing to meet us in the Rochester area and was far quicker than other doulas would estimate/allow for time to arrive after being called regarding labor starting; this too gave us confidence. Definitely recommend.

I ended up having a much different birth than I had hoped. Experiencing covid in the family and breech position during my 41st week of pregnancy I ended up with a c section with my husband not allowed in the hospital. Because of the covid my older children were not allowed back to daycare for a couple weeks and some family and friends that were going to help us were no longer willing. I reached out to two different doula groups I am a part of desperate for postpartum help and Rhonda graciously answered my need. It was such a relief to have Rhonda in my home the first two nights I was home from the hospital. Those first couple nights are very tough and trying to keep distance from my husband while recovering from surgery Rhonda really filled in that role. I still couldn't move well so she brought the baby to and from me, changed her, held her, and offered support and comfort. She was also great in helping with my 1 and 2 year old. They liked and trusted her immediately. I asked Rhonda to come back around 4 weeks for a couple days overnight to get a decent night's sleep and it was well worth it! I felt safe with her staying awake with the baby while I slept and just woke to pump. Rhonda is direct and easy to work with. I never felt judged only cared for.

At the time when I was down 8 months pregnant I was really stressed and overwhelmed with life. When I met Rhonda I was staying in a women shelter with 2 children and the 3rd baby on the way. I was blessed to meet Rhonda at that time someone who made me feel comfortable sharing my pain and thoughts to. She has been so very supportive from the start showing kindness and love. My mother was not able to see my previous kids at birth so to have a doula for the first time felt less alone. Rhonda McKim has been blessed to bear others burdens and to fulfill happiness to the ones who has the chance to experience her. May god continue her growth in her journey and also continue to bless her heart.
